Loved our visit. Stayed in a jacuzzi room. Large, clean, lovely views. Food was wonderful at the restaurant. The prize for this resort is very affordable for what you get. We went for a walk along the lake and enjoyed the sun set. We will definitely be back!

Quaaout Lodge is a beautifully situated resort at the end of Little Shuswap Lake. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a balcony view over the beach. The staff was friendly and efficient and the facilities including the hot tub and pool were clean and inviting. We were particularly impressed by the lodge restaurant which serves very high quality locally sourced food. We particularly enjoyed the shared charcuterie board which featured locally cured meats, artisan cheese and delicious house fermented pickles. The wine list features reasonably priced BC wines and a good variety of BC craft beers. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

Recently stayed here with my wife, the location was beautiful, the room was really nice and very clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had a view of the lake from a balcony in our room. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife went to the spa and had a massage and said it was great. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner which was lovely and then in the morning we took part in the complimentary smudge ceremony, all of which just really made this stay a great night away and very relaxing and we’d definitely recommend staying here!

We go there once a year to visit family, always have a great time there, clean rooms and the best part is the food!! Best food I’ve had, and I am a bit of a picky eater. Feels very comfortable there and we always have a great time! I would definitely recommend!

Easter weekend, I had friends visiting from Alberta and recommended Quaaout as it is close to Chase and having eaten there before, I thought it was a lovely hotel. HOWEVER ... turns out staying there for my friends wasn't so lovely. The hotel charged $100 a night damage deposit... so their three day stay was over $900 (yes, I know the deposit was refunded, but $100 PER NIGHT??) And that was just the first issue... there was absolutely NO daily room cleaning/tidying -- i.e. no garbage removal, replenishing of the two K-cups initially provided for the in room coffee, no fresh towels, no bed making, nothing -- for the entire stay. Thank heavens they were only there for three nights or the overflowing garbage would have probably driven them out of the room. Could they have called the desk each time they needed something? Yes. Does anyone want to have to constantly be doing that (for $200 a night) NO. Then they tried to eat in the dining room. No such luck. To be fair, they were told to make reservations, but they assumed that was for lunch or dinner... nope. They tried to get a coffee and some toast for breakfast on their last morning and were told the next available table was after 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon. The restaurant was two-thirds empty! And even if the tables were all reserved by people who would presumably arrive in the next five minutes, why on earth wouldn't they set aside a small number of tables for their paying guests????? Advertising that your hotel has in room amenities like coffee or onsite dining is really misleading if you can't get into the dining room or you have to call each time you need a K-cup, towel or roll of toilet paper. My friends won't stay there again... and I will never again recommend it to visitors or anyone else who asks. I am embarrassed to have done so in the first place. What a disaster.

Booked a couples massage with my man and had an outstanding experience. Aliesha and Dawn had us both feeling relaxed, revived and pampered. They also have an infrared sauna to finalize your treatment which was also bliss! As a self proclaimed "SPA AFFICIENDO" I highly recommend a visit!!

Everyone at this resort was absolutely lovely! It's not often that businesses focus on providing a wonderful customer experience throughout every engagement with their customers, but I think this resort has done a fabulous job in this regard. Every single employee was simply delightful, friendly, and very accommodating. This included the hotel front desk & cleaning staff, the servers in both the lounge and the dining room, and the golf course front desk staff, along with the golf cart staff and starters. What a beautiful, welcoming place to visit. We'll be back!

We stayed at talking Rock from September 10 to 16, 2021. The resort is really nice and right on the water - we had a King Jaccuzzi suite overlooking the water. The room was quite big and the balcony was huge. The view over the water was stunning. They did not clean our room but the cart was left in the hall every day for some time so you could get what you needed. All good we are happy to keep everyone safe right now. We also golfed - the course is really nice - we golfed all days we were there - think we would shorten the golf next time as we prefer variety but it was beautiful. No issues all our tee times we booked were there and the staff were very friendly. The practice facilities were great as well. There is only one restaurant on site which is unfortunate - maybe ask if you can bring a table top grill for your balcony or something to cook your own meals. The restaurant was quite pricey and not a lot of variety - the entire time we were there is was chicken vegetable soup or potato bacon so not a lot of choice. The first night we did room service my husband had the fish and chips - it was so greasy he could not eat it. I had the burger one time same thing quite greasy could not finish it. They had a few meals that were not bad but for the price it should have been way better. The cheapest bottle of wine was $40. Do room service and drink your own wine. I am not sure if they have an outside grill for guests when it's not COVID, would suggest they offer this. They have a little gift store but it's open limited hours and I was hoping to see more local things made be the indigenous people but that was very limited. I really wanted to book massages at the spa but they had no registered massage which was quite disappointing - I asked if they did deep tissue for my husband, they did not, the lady I spoke to said she can try to go deeper. You are at a golf resort a massage helps and they should have at least a couple of registered massage therapists there. Instead I booked pedicures for me and my husband - $180 for 2 - no chairs - we soaked our feet in little tubs then had to climb up on a bed. For that price I was expecting a longer foot massage - did not get that - only about 5 minutes. I get a better pedicure in a massage chair at my local Q nails here with the same thing for $45. That was disappointing. Again the resort was beautiful and rooms were great - work needed on restaurant and spa.
