Beautiful B&B with everything you need in a convenient location away from the hustle and bustle of York centre but within easy reach. Catherine is such a friendly and accommodating host! Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.

Visitied the B&B for one night in March and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was lovely, impeccably clean and in a gorgeous setting and Catherine was lovely, warm, welcoming and could not do enough for us. We used it as a base to visit York which is just a short taxi journey away, would definitely recommend staying here - much nicer and easier than staying in York centre

Wonderful rooms, fantastic breakfast and the hosting was second to none. What a gem of a place to stay. We Can't recommend it highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble - Our arrival time was outside the norm yet we were greeted with open arms.

We popped to York for some Christmas shopping and to have a look around the Christmas market. We stayed here as it was in a good location for us to get into York. The place is less then 10 minutes away from the Askham Bar pack and ride. We stayed in room 2 as there was 3 of us and the place was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy the room was fantastic as you can see in the photos. Catherine was so welcoming and helpful. I think we have found our new favourite place to stay when visiting friends in York from now on. Thanks Catherine for all your help while we were with you.

I stayed for one night , it was my sons wedding nearby. It’s a lovely small , peaceful place. The cows were a fantastic view from my room. The room was beautifully decorated, bathroom had a great large shower. Catherine is so friendly and welcoming , she also organised taxis for me both there & back to the wedding venue. It’s a beautiful place to stay , would definitely recommend x

Exceptional communication by the host, beautiful room with so many little touches making it like a home from home.
Catherine treated us like friends and nothing was too much trouble.
The location was so quiet and easy to access with our own parking space. Breakfast was plentiful with quality products cooked to perfection.
We will definitely return.

As soon as we arrived, our host, Catherine came out to greet us and show us to our lovely room. The room, which overlooked the farm yard was very spacious with a really comfortable bed and a clean, modern en-suite. Catherine met us downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast was first class with fresh food cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend this B&B. This lovely farm is in the countryside and a car is needed to get around.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Warm friendly greeting on arrival from Catherine. The room was fresh and clean and everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Nothing was to much trouble for Catherine.
Definitely planning another stay.
