Hotels with Airport pickup service in Cologno Monzese

We booked this trip as a city break…this is falsely advertised as having a bar, good breakfast and close to Milan central……it’s miles away, breakfast was a few hot dog sausages and streaky bacon with smelly eggs. There is no bar as it has closed down and the hotel is in the middle of no where like it’s abandoned, the only thing nearby is the shopping mall open 9-9 after these times you cannot get a drink and have to wait until the morning if you arrive late. We have also been bitten by bed bugs both myself and partner are covered in hives and rashes and bite marks of which we have been assessed by our local gp to confirm this is the case. The people of Italy are rude and it’s not somewhere we will ever be returning to again. The only good thing was meeting a Scottish couple who helped us with directions and where to get the local bus etc and were lovely. Room was filthy with snapped rotten screws coming out of the bath and the tV wasn’t working If you have the mis fortune of staying here…turn around immediately and go home

I really enjoyed my stay here and the front desk staffs are super helpful. I also requested to change my room as I didn’t like the toilet as they first provided me a room with a disable toilet, and when I asked to change, they immediately changed it for me. Location was super convenient as well, the Metro was just 3mins away, and there’s supermarkets and shopping mall 5-8mins away, all walking distance🥰 The only thing that I didn’t like and it should have been better is the dinner; I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes, and I was surprised when it arrived on my table…it looked like it was frozen and that it just came out of the microwave…

Soft personal cozy and professional couchs spacious and clean rooms. Thanks to the fridge bar. Abundant breakfast and relaxing view. Comfortable for the center and large parking spacious hotel. Silent and quiet. Recommended

The hotel is well situated for access to the centre of Milan. The nearest Metro station is just 10 minutes walk away. On the positive side, the hotel is very clean, our room was very clean and was serviced and new towels provided daily. The bed was very comfortable. However, the hotel is dated and looks tired. The bar is large, empty and lacks atmosphere. The only food served at the hotel (other than breakfast) is mostly frozen. Breakfasts are OK but by 9am, quite depleted and we had to ask for certain items to be replenished. Staff are friendly but seem to be indifferent to the challenges. The exception was the bar staff (Chritiano), who was extremely helpful and provided good advice on where to eat etc. From our experience of other hotels we have stayed in, we are surprised at the 4 star rating. My advice would be to use the hotel as a base but stay in town for all social activities.

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.

Επέλεξα να μείνω στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο τον Νοέμβριο του '22. Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν καλό. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο, με καθαρά κλινοσκεπάσματα, υπέροχο στρώμα, καλό φωτισμό και με ευρύχωρο μπάνιο. Ωστόσο, η μία λάμπα στο δωμάτιο ήταν καμένη ενώ το mini bar για 4* ξενοδοχείο, άδειο! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο σε επιλογές, σε ένα ήσυχο περιβάλλον με καθαρά σερβίτσια. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου φιλικό, πρόθυμο να απαντήσει σε κάθε ερώτηση, ωστόσο, όταν ζήτησα πληροφορίες για μεταφορά προς το αεροδρόμιο, η μοναδική επιλογή (τους) ήταν ”ταξί” που κατέληξε σε συνεργαζόμενο γραφείο - ενώ σε ερώτηση ενημέρωσης δρομολογίων των λεωφορείων (μιας κι η πτήση ήταν πρωινή ώρα), η απάντηση τους ήταν ”δεν γνωρίζουμε, πρέπει να ενημερωθείτε απ' την εκάστοτε εταιρεία”, κάτι φυσικά που με απογοήτευσε, διότι περίμενα καλύτερη και πληρέστερη ενημέρωση απ' το Guest Relation. Όσον αφορά τη τοποθεσία, βρίσκεται μόλις 5 λεπτά μακριά (με τα πόδια) απ' το μετρό και μέσα σε λίγα μόλις λεπτά βρίσκεσαι στο κέντρο του Μιλάνο.

We return to Falk after many years ... and we find it in beautiful shape! The maintenance of the structure is probably accurate and continuous, so that it always appears new. Unlike last times, breakfast was less enthusiastic. It was always very appreciated that there was a coffee or a cappuccino at the table, without additional costs, made by a professional machine rather than by a automatic distributor, but the variety seemed far more limited. One type of cheese; two types of appetites, one type yoghurt and two types of tastes; only bread in a box. It is not the breakfast that had left the sign in the past! The room was clean, profumed and without a defect, so much to seem never used. Mattresses and comfortable double couchs. Heating, fridge and safe available. Doulour notes: in a 4-star hotel a double bed cannot be given by the attachment of two single mattresses, and when it happens, the discomfort must be limited at least by the insertion of a good thick topper. If the boiler is used free of charge, in a 4-star cups can not be replaced by simple paper glasses. Good quality of bath products, but a hotel that expects the client to pay greater attention to the planet, proposing solutions to avoid unnecessary change of towels and towels, it should start with giving the ”good example” by abolishing the use of single dose products.

We stayed in Abacus hotel in late November 2022 with kids and other two families. Hotel has amazing location - underground just couple meters from hotel and also train station! 20 minutes by metro to the city centre. Staff are very nice and helpful, rooms great and beds very comfortable! Bath with jacuzzi is a bonus! Room has been kept clean for our whole stay. Breakfast very tasty with helpful staff. We use also a sauna and pool and everything was so clean. We can’t find even one thing which we didn’t like in this hotel! All three families were happy with this hotel choice! Highly recommended!
