The hotel canceled our reservation 2 days before the arrival. The room was fully charged on credit card. They has not refunded the money till now (it has been almost a year) without any response on my emails.

First time warning about accommodation on Tripadvisor. I stood in front of the accommodation without an access code, the supposedly 24-hour "reception" that could only be reached by telephone. However, the phone was switched off and has not responded to messages via the booking portal, SMS and email to this day. So I had to book another hotel late in the evening. I'm still waiting for an explanation or apology.
