I have to say it's very very disappointing during the latest stay at Mariott Atlanta Airport Gateway. My wife stayed through 13-15Oct. She placed her jade bracelet on bedside table and forgot to carry with her to dinner for several hours on 14Oct late afternoon. The jade bracelet was never found again after that. Hotel gave a plain answer to her inquiry simply saying it could not be found, although it certainly could do some investigation on room access or CCTV record. Besides the financial loss, it's a priceless gift from old parents. The result, security concern, and the hotel's reaction are so so disappointing.

Tried to check in at 11 pm, no rooms even with prepaid booking, told to wait, hour later given a room that was occupied! Back to reception, lots of angry people, no management, felt very sorry for the sole receptionist, eventually had a conference room with pull down bed given to me. Will avoid.

Great access to ATL airport and rental car facility via train. Parking is a bit of an issue. Great Racetrack is nearby for snacks and filling up your rental. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location close with less than 5 minute train ride to airport. Kids enjoyed pool. Nice to be able to get Starbucks in the lobby early in the morning. Will stay here again.

Front Desk: Really friendly/helpful/warm (Jordan)
Room: Spacious, updated, lots of charging, quiet
Bed: Too firm for my taste (like most Marriotts) but soft linens
Shower: Good pressure and volume, soft water, soft towels, amazing essential oil soap products (I took a pic to see if I can buy it online). Related note: name brand TP! Don't see that often!
In-room Coffee: Meh; not congruent with the outstanding nature of everything else. It's the sad "tea bag" drip coffee. Management, I recommend you replace this with Keurig at a minimum but ideally Nespresso for a really excellent experience. Or consider one of those automatic espresso machines for the lobby since the coffee shop down stairs does not open until 6. Jordan at the front desk rolled out a Keurig for me, which was really appreciated, but espresso should be easily accessible at a fine hotel, and the nearest I could find was at the airport.
Airport Access: Very short walk to the sky train which gets you to the terminal in ＜ 5 minutes. Much better experience than the shuttles from the other hotels for me.
Overall: My best airport hotel experience to date and an excellent experience for any hotel. Worth the extra cost compared to other options nearby. Hope they fix the coffee situation.

Very pleasant. Only issue was the Sky Train back to the airport. We were accosted by a very aggressive homeless man. Probably would not stay at the hotel again because of that.

Very disappointed that I booked a suite with a queen bed and a sofa bed and the queen bed turned out to be a Murphy bed with a mattress so thin you could feel the support bars. Additionally the cabinet of the Murphy bed squeaked loudly every time I or my spouse moved.

Very welcoming and easy check-in. The bed was comfortable and there are late night food options. The room was clean and efficient for travelers. My only critique would be that grab and go breakfast wasn't available, nor real coffee until after 6am. There were several of us catching early flights that had to forego coffee or breakfast unless we brought it.
