Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort
4.4/597 Reviews
My wife and I recently stayed overnight at The Twin Arrows during a Flagstaff getaway. What a great experience! A previous review noted one disappointment after another. Perhaps, based on that review, the ****** and hotel ”upped” their game, because we had a fantastic time! First of all, the customer service was excellent. As good, if not better than what you would receive in Las Vegas. From the ”kids” at the valet and front entrance to the check in staff, housekeeping and gaming staff, everyone was friendly and very helpful. We were also very happy to see that most, if not all of the staff was at least native, more probably Dine. Okay. So this five-story property isn't much to look at on the outside. But once inside, you realize where all the time and money was spent! A gorgeous foyer, spacious ****** with wonderfully high ceilings, a cool sports bar and café, an elegant steak house, and artistically wonderful hallways. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet (a very heavy room door helped). It was tastefully appointed with cool native decor with hints of art deco. (BTW - we had a King view room.) The bathroom was very, very spacious with a two-sink set-up (a rarity) and a separated toilet. The walk-in shower was big enough for two. He had a terrific dinner in the Zenith steakhouse and a wonderful breakfast (including wonderful fry bread) in the Four Elements Café (reviewed separately). Here is the big suggestion. If you are looking to be close to downtown Flagstaff, this is NOT your hotel. Located off of the I-40, this hotel is PERFECT however if you want to be close to Winslow, the Homlovi Ruins, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater or the Petrified National Forest and Painted Desert. We used to think that the La Posada was the only elegant game in town in the area. This property has changed our minds. We will be back!

LOVED this resort. Everyone we met who worked here was courteous, friendly and genuinely seemed to care about their job and our stay at the resort. The food at both restaurants on the property was some of the best we've ever had anywhere on vacation. Unmatched views of Sedona's red rocks. Absolutely lovely!

The view was very nice and the staff were kind. The breakfast was also very delicious and I had it every day. I want to use it again.
Poco Diablo Resort
3.9/5100 Reviews
The Poco Diablo hotel is located several miles outside of Sedona. It has most amenities to keep you busy for your stay- a network of hiking trails 1//4 mile from the property, golf course, swimming pool, tennis court and laundry room. The hotel is connected by a shuttle from Phoenix and the Verde Valley shuttle takes you from the hotel to Sedona and other areas of interest. Because the hotel is located away from Sedona you have the opportunity to do star gazing at night. The rooms are spacious. I especially liked the bathroom as there were two sinks- one in the wash area and one outside. Manager Phil and concierge William were easy to talk too and very pleasant. They provided answers to our questions. The hotel still follows Covid-19 protocols so staff had limited contact with guests. Housekeeping is limited to changing towels and picking up trash. I did not give this hotel 5 stars as they do not have a gift or sundry shop. The Willow restaurant at the hotel is open only for dinner. They have no breakfast or lunch options. We went to Safeway to stock up on breakfast supplies. Buy snacks and drinks for your stay at the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
DoubleTree by Hilton Flagstaff

American hotels, bookings seem to be more expensive, fair. The bed is still relatively large, 4 people have no problem, the location is good, parking is convenient.
High Country Motor Lodge - Near Nau and Downtown

While the hotel sits at a convenient location, the asthetics within the room themselves are hideous. everything is so old and outdated, the bathrooms are worse than a convenient store's. toilet was cracked, stained cigarette burns in top sitting ring, bathtubs were dirty looking (?) fills with water as you shower, couldnt even bathe children. hot &cold water fluctuate when the nextdoor room would flush their toilet or turn on their water (walls so thin sounded like neighbors were in same room!) shower heads were nasty with hard water residuals water spurting out from the sides, pillows on beds felt like balled up chunks of some sort of filling, inconsistent with being able to generally support head/neck for a decent night's sleep. Blankets very thin and inadequate for the cooler weather. wall heater was on 90 (the highest heat setting) room was still freezing. the wasTVs so old unable to support external media of any kind none the less with smart apps such as Netflix, hulu...etc. couldn't even connect via personal device using USB cord or mirror cast.. Phone by the bedside had zero menu for contacts such as front desk, houskeeping, etc.chairs for the sitting table in the room were so disgusting and stained we didn't even want to sit in them! the above stated is a basic review to give you an idea of what you may be in for should you chose this hotel.
