Econo Lodge Cocoa Beach - Near the Port

Reservation made online prior to stay. Arrived after midnight with knowledge that reservation was not to be canceled until 7am. Night manager was nice, but it doesn't excuse that my reservation was taken out of system. To get it back in took over 10 minutes. by the time we got the key in the room door, 20 minutes had passed. the room was covered with water from the air conditioner that made it impossible to stay in it. Called night manager who said he was on his way with a new room and keys. I watched through the door as he opened several rooms and went back to office twice for different keys. this process took over 20 minutes. total time to finally get into a room was about 40 minutes. I asked him about compensation for the issue. he only replied that he upgraded our room to one with a kitchenette. This was not an upgrade. we didn't use the kitchenette at all and wouldn't since it was dirty and needed cleaning. The room didn't even have an iron or board. When asked was told we would have to come to office to get one. Upon check out, the day manager practically accused us of taking the iron and board since we left it in the room. She then refused to compensate for issue, and said the night manager was doing us a favor by upgrading us to a room that cost more than the one I paid for. I informed her that moving us for a room issue that made it impossible to use the room was not a request we made. It had to be done. The manager only gave us what he thought was a clean room with short notice. She also said, they went out of their way to accommodate my disability, by getting a room on the first floor, as I asked. I informed her that at no time, did I even mention my disability to the night manager. I never asked for room on first floor. She then said she wasn't empowered, to give any type of compensation. I would have to speak with the general manager, who she says wasn't in the time. I had to ask for the manager's name which she wasn't eager to share. I have yet to speak with him. I have since contacted my bank, I was informed by letter that they have never been able to speak with the manager either. It is clear that they have been done this before. It appears that they are posting fake 4 and 5 star reviews, to make their location appear better. I will continue to contact anyone I can at the corporate level to receive my money back.
Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel Suites

A well-regulated motel with a slightly simple interior and an internal pool. Very close to the beach, the beach is large and flat. Not far from the hotel there is a big supermarket and some restaurants, parking costs 5 knives, the hotel will send you a parking permit, you need to hang in the car

The tub drain did not work well. The shower curtain rod is hung drooping in the center, such that the shower curtain can never be closed. The bath faucet leaked and dripped all night. They had tried to cover up mold with caulk all around the tub area. There was also rust. There was a party in one of the conference rooms directly below us and the music was horrendous and loud and banging and booming until and booming until 11 o'clock.. I feel like night club rooms should be relocated away from people who are paying top dollar. The pillows were inadequate...when one person needs 4 pillows, you have a problem with your pillows. The TV was old. The furnishings were old and damaged. There was a lamp that wouldn't turn on, one that flickered. The furnishings were old and damaged. The hotel has signs everywhere that says their bathrooms are being fixed, so why would they be selling rooms at such a high price $300 a night when they admit they are inadequate. This is the worst Hilton property ever and should have the name Hilton removed from it. Hilton has always meant classy and this one was far from it. Junky. ....on par with an old Best Western.

Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach

The convenience, comfort, and proximity to everything made this hotel a great choice. Ric & I traveled to Cocoa Beach with our 9 & 13-year-old grandkids. Every day has been a grand adventure from the Kennedy Space Center, surf fishing, boogie board fun, and the many good restaurants and shops to visit. We had breakfast at the Shark Pit each morning and had the pleasure of being served by Alexis. She has a lovely personality and is a very competent wait staff. By day 3 she was bringing our preferred beverages before we even said good morning! The Four Points Sheraton Cocoa Beach has a jewel in this young lady and we will remember how she helped to make our time there so memorable. We will stay at Four Points Sheraton the next time we vacation in Cocoa Beach!

To make your way to the Ocean Oasis the next day, book this hotel near the cruise terminal. The room was clean and the breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has a bus to the cruise terminal ($7 per person), which is very convenient for cocoa cruises than the cruise terminal. The hotel is located in the area of Cocoa Beach, after staying at Cocoa Beach, it is beautiful. There is a big supermarket behind the diagonally opposite the gas station, which is very convenient for shopping. There are several restaurants nearby and Cocoa Beach attractions for lunch and dinner.
