This was a great pick to stay. It was a bit far to walk to the centre but a taxi was 10 minutes and cost nothing. It has free onsite parking if you hire a car. You can walk to the centre, just takes 40 minutes or a bus stop is 5 minutes away. The room was a great size and it was really clean. Everything was new in the room. There wasn’t much to do in the hotel, an eating/drinking area is the most you’ll get but it’s a city break so you don’t need anything else. I’d definitely stay again. Staff spoke really good English and were really friendly. Good value for sure

we came here for the day to work and have food and drinks. We were served by Vaidla Catalin. He was brilliant and very attentive. We ate soup, had many beers, a delicious bloody mary and vodka, carrot and beetroot each. Plus coffees. We were here for the whole day working and taking in the atmosphere. I have allergens but the barman was able to talk me through what I could have and they made us feel very welcome. The bar is lovely and we were the only ones there and were able to work quite happily. The wifi is very strong and its nice and quiet. Would come back.

Liked · Location is within walking distance from the centre and old town, but it is still a 20-25 minute walk. Clean room. Average breakfast. The deep fried zucchini is very good. I had a room towards the yard and it was very quiet (both towards the outside as well as towards the hallway). Disliked · The hotel interior feels sterile and not cozy. Part of the reason for this is that the lighting in the hotel throughout is cold white and in the rooms the lights are much too strong (except bathroom, where it is not strong enough). Suggestion to management: hire a lighting consultant for advice how to change to warmer light to make the lighting work to the hotel's advantage. Also add a few plants here and there to reduce the sterile feeling. I missed fresh bread for breakfast, only toast was available. The music during breakfast was extremely cheesy, elevator style (maybe suitable for pensioners?). However, the real problem was that I was double charged for a one night stay. I was getting suspicious about payment issues already when the owner asked me if I wanted to change the credit card that I had used for the reservation through another website. (Was it to cancel my original reservation in order to avoid paying commission to them?) Since the credit card reservation for the second night was never cancelled even though we decided to stay only one night, I had to write and complain. Despite writing four e-mails about it (of course using the correct e-mail adress) I never got a response from the hotel. Finally I turned to my bank showing them the proof and the bank swiftly reimbursed me for the double payment.

We were warned in advance of renovation work being done to the hotel which was very honest of them, but we still decided to stay and were not disturbed by it. The rooms were very nice and calm in decoration. The beds were comfortable. The location is good, about ten mins walk from the Old Town, downhill. We got a taxi back but the hill is actually quite gentle. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Professional staff members. Welcome you with smile and their breakfast is impeccable. I love it so much I’ll go stay there anytime I’m in Cluj. 🙌. I recommend signing up for their rewards to get 10% off foods and beverages. They have breakfast for champions and their restaurants food is good as well.

All was perfect... quality gentleness room super food fantastic nothing to say to return to us... The hotel has a comfortable location in the centre and is located inside a mall. My wife and I stayed twice at this hotel , August 2022 and August 2023 (Traveled from UAE). Perfect location next to Somesh River and across street from the Central Park, we stayed in a spacious suite on the 8th floor with a living area and second bathroom overlooking a very nice view of the Somesh River and the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca. Breakfast was very good with a lot of varieties of food for every taste. Staff was friendly, kind and eager to please. We especially came to Cluj for a wedding which we attended on the second day of our arrival, party room of the hotel is amazing, everything was perfectly organized, food was very good and delicious . For sure we will come back to Cluj and stay at this hotel.
