4 older women stayed in this hotel overnight. We were in town for a concert & I wanted a beachfront room. This room was perfect; the view, comfortable beds, barstools at counter, sofa. There was ample room for all 4 of us, and everything was very clean. The hotel is one of the older ones, but it has been kept up nicely & you can't beat the location. Both the evening and morning staff were friendly and helpful.
We had one issue with the room; we couldn't get the balcony door open. I told the front desk person about it & she offered to send someone up, but we were leaving, so hopefully they got it resolved. Also, the coffee was horrible, both in the room and at the continental breakfast. It was like colored water; not sure what coffee brand they use, but it needs to be upgraded. The yogurt, cereal, fruit and pastries were good.
I've stayed in many beachfront hotels before & this was one of the nicer ones. We didn't use it, but I noticed a knob missing from the stove top. The elevator could use some refreshing, but it works fine.
Advice: GPS will take you to the front of the hotel, but drive around to the street behind it & park in the Beachview parking lot.
