Hotels near Walmart Supercenter, Clarksville

Hampton inn rarely disappoints, but this one did. While the hotel was easily accessible and was clean and well appointed in the guest areas, some fine tuning was required to meet Hampton’s usual standards. The water temperature in the shower was barely luke warm with the knob all the way to the left. I applaud the dispensers in the bathroom to save on plastic. But the lotion dispenser was empty. The breakfast was well below standard. The scrambled “eggs” were swimming in liquid and looked very unappetizing. I would consider other hotels in this price range when traveling through Clarksville.

The deskclerk on check in was wonderful, the night one was horrible, rude, and straight out needs to be removed! We traveled all day, I am handicapped and was hurting so went done to lobby to find snack so could take pain pill. Breakfast was added to our room fee so took banana and received lecture made to show card and room number and advised I couldn’t come back in hour when opened breakfast as she wasn’t going to refill the food since I couldn’t wait even though I already explained issue to her. I don’t know how hard it is to replace 1 banana. She continued her tyrant as I waited for elevator and almost wished I would have skipped the banana and threw up all over her lobby instead! This was so uncalled for especially when price of room was over 150.00. Being ill didn’t shower or use anything but toilet and one damn banana! While packing checked under bed and beside night stand for items I may have dropped and found gobs of food, pizza, & popcorn! Also boxes and other trash (not small items either which really causes me to question how cleaning is done!) The facility appeared well kept and clean but was later obvious that was just superficial. Bed was not horrible but not comfortable either. Shower faucets dripped all night DRIP DRIP DRIP otherwise quiet and comfortable. Also important to note the breakfast I was charged for and denied other than a banana was pre-made heat and go gas station type stuff therefore clearly easy to see why she was so stressed about replacing one banana! I couldn't see the road at night and missed the entrance of the hotel twice. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Needed to stay the night after dropping off my soldier to fort Campbell. There were affordable rooms available and I slept quite well in the clean, relatively quiet room. There was no ice for water but there is a convenient store next door to get everything. The door also needed help to secure it properly.

We chose HIE because we appreciate the amenities there; comfortable beds, clean bathrooms plus a good breakfast. The week night suppers provided by this hotel were an added bonus. The facility was close enough to Land between the Lakes for a day trip to explore that area. Sadly, the hotel was having trouble with their pool maintenance but they were able to make arrangements with another hotel next to them to allow pool access.
