For a hotel right off of I 95 it was perfect to stop to sleep and get up early and be back on the road.. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Also, the bathroom shower was hot and had good shower pressure. It is in a newer center right next to a Starbucks and other restaurants and a Bass Pro shop. If I road trip again I would stay here if the timing was right.

I stayed here 2x (July 25-26 and Aug 8-9) as my family is making a cross country move and this is the halfway point. The 2nd time, I booked the wrong dates, which was my fault, so when I arrived I paid for a new booking. I still had the reservation for the wrong date, so I tried to change the date to when we would be coming down to close on our old house (Aug 27-28). I did book 3rd party, but I called both the hotel and the 3rd party to try to change the dates. 3rd party spoke to someone named Quay who said they changed the dates with no additional charge. I called the property the next day and they were unaware of the change. 3rd party site reached out on my behalf and they refuse to make the change without additional payment. They also refuse to refund me, even though I stayed twice and made payment for my mistake already.

This hotel was a great stop over spot on our way to the beach. We paid $173 for one night. Very nice hotel. Close to restaurants. Clean. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Easy on and off the Interstate. We will use it again.

The only negative thing about this hotel is that it was a little hard to find. It certainly wasn't rated as high as it should be. The room was spacious, well appointed with glassware, silverware and tableware. There was a table on rollers tucked under a counter that, when rolled out made a dining area; almost every light fixture had charging ports in the base; and the bed and pillows were very good. Breakfast was great - two choices of omelettes, cheese and western, sausage, hot cereal, cold cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, several bread choices for toast and several choices for coffee and juice. It was refreshed often, so food was not stale. The indoor pool and exercise room make it a great choice for an extended stay. Nearby are many restaurants and the Short Pump Shopping Center. It would be a great place to stay to visit the historic homes of Jefferson, Madison and Monroe.

Previous to our stay here, we had never stayed in a ”suite” before. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. There was a full kitchen, stocked with the necessary utensils, a living area with recliner and sleeper couch, a bedroom with a queen size bead, a nice bath and shower, and plenty of closet space. It is quiet there, and very well managed. Zoey was our office contact and she does an excellent job handling all of the guests.

I like that the hotel conditions are so clean.

I stayed at the Marriott Short Pump Richmond, VA from September 18-23, 2024, and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a higher-level Marriott Rewards member, I appreciated the well-supplied 24/7 M Lounge, which offered breakfast in the mornings and a variety of food and drinks throughout the day—an extremely convenient feature. The front desk receptionist, Lenar, stood out for her courtesy, knowledge, and helpfulness with any requests I had during my stay. The combination of price, comfortable rooms, and excellent service makes this hotel a great choice if you’re visiting the Richmond, VA area. Highly recommend!
