The pool was sweet in a retro way. The breakfast at the adjacent cafe was excellent and was included with our stay. Disliked · The rooms are accessed by an interior hallway. Each door DOES NOT have an air type brake on them and EVERY time someone goes IN our OUT the doors SLAM very LOUD. Including at 3 am in the morning. It was extremely nerve wracking. The towels were stained and didn't smell bleach fresh at all. The carpets are stained and there are cigarette butts scattered around the exterior. I was kept awake from 3 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. by the next door room partying LOUD AND HARD. I called the front desk and he was very kind and offered to intervene. They quieted down for about 20 minutes and then the doors started slamming again! 16 times, I counted... because I was WIDE AWAKE and the party continued til 5:30 a.m. The clientele staying at this hotel was questionable to say the least!

There is a swimming pool, and it is still far away from Yosemite. If it is not near, I will not fix this. There is a small bar but it feels more suitable for the elderly. Hotel accommodation is very quiet, behind the house is a small forest. On the last day, I lost a coat at the hotel, but considering the American express delivery, I still forget it.

Arrived here the night before, watching the introduction is closer to Yosemite.
It is a very historic hotel, you can feel it from the facilities, but the price is relatively cheap.
It’s a bit cold at night, just take it as a night.
The room rate includes breakfast, but there are few types of breakfast, fruit, cereal, coffee and milk.
But there is an old lady who is very enthusiastic.
Check out the next morning and head straight to Yosemite. I drove for nearly an hour. There are many winding roads, but the speed in the United States is still much faster than in China. The roads are very dangerous, but I think it is okay.

It was a nice unique hotel. The building history is really cool and the rooms represented that. Was pretty clean but rooms are generally smaller the regular hotels but the bathroom was really big and impressive. The pool was great. The breakfast was actually pretty decent the offerings changed a bit in our 2 day stay which gave it variety. The waffle maker is great. I would definitely stay again. Just fyi there are no cards to access the room they are actually keys and the doors self lock.

The room we stayed in should have been a closet. There was a window that faced another room which was a broom closet with a skylight. We were told the pool is open until 10pm but the woman behind the desk said it closes at 8:30pm. We had to get the pool key from the front desk. If you just need a place to lay your head, after a day of hiking or fishing, I suppose it's okay. I wasn expecting the room to look like the one in the photos the website provided. Stay at the Lumberjack instead.
