Find Best Hotels in Copperopolis

Right out of a storybook. The Hotel was made to look old but it was wonderfully new. Everything was clean and in working order. The room, building and grounds were beautiful. A few steps away from the rooms outer door was a cute little town square, a fantastic pizza parlor, and a Java shop. We couldn't have asked for more except a place to have breakfast would have been nice.

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were disappointed that even though we were in a non-smoking room as all the rooms are. The people in the room next to us smoked in the walkway in front of their door during our stay. From the looks of the property (cigarette buts everywhere) there seems to be no enforcement of smoking restrictions. The property needs a designated smoking area away from non smokers.

In August, 2019, I payed $110 + to stay at this motel in Angels Camp, California, which describes itself as ”budget-friendly” . It is an older motel and some would say it is ”quaint,” but I found it to be just run-down and lacking in good basic amenities. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the towels were old and extremely thin. There was dirt in the corner of the bathroom. When I checked in the woman that helped me wasn't particularly friendly. On the plus side, the air-conditioning was good and the motel is convenient to many stores and restaurants. I stayed at this motel last year in August and was charged $79 + which made it marginally reasonable, but how can the owners justify a $30 a night price increase in one year? I definitely won't stay here again.

Very relaxing get away... simply said , to be able to walk out your back Dior onto a balcony, overlooking a beautiful rose garden. ... wow! What a perfect amount of space and comfortably calm. Everything and everyone was excellent. No problems at all staff was very helpful.

On a two thousand mile motorcycle ride you end up staying in some interesting places. Finding this place was a huge bonus! The rooms are nothing special, even a bit dated but they are extremely clean and very comfy. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t any coffee in the rooms but were rewarded by the owner, Andrea, who made us a pot of very good coffee accompanied with half and half and sweetener. Did I mention outstanding service? We are all cigar smokers and Andrea also brought us comfy chairs so we could enjoy our morning smoke out in front of our rooms, just another very thoughtful touch. It is such a treat to find great, old-fashion service with hosts willing to above and beyond to make us comfortable. We ride through every couple of years and will most definitely return to the Railtown Motel! Thank you again!
