The Guest House Akirado is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Tokoname will find that the Guest House Akirado is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 600m from Tokoname Station and 5km from Chūbu Centrair International Airport. Keeping busy is easy, with Curves, Clay Works and ぎゃらりー宗則窯 all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
Wanted a non smoking room but only had a smoking room left
Good thing is the room really not so smelly and with a little fabric freshener the place don’t have the cigarettes smell
Wide spread for breakfast but taste ok only
There’s actually shuttle service to the airport though it’s actually quite nearby
Nice view of sunrise too
Our flight was arriving in Centrair at 7.30am, and we couldn't check into our hotel until 3pm. As I am never able to sleep on flights, I thought that Tubesq would be a great option to get a few hours sleep before making our onward journey. So I booked a male capsule for me and a female capsule for my wife (6 hours daytime use) and we went our separate ways after checking in. I put my suitcase into the locker provided (plenty big enough for a large suitcase and additional bag) and went to my capsule - Great! I thought, only one or two capsules were occupied. So I got inside, pulled down the blind, switched off the light and tried in vain to get some sleep. I switched on the fan, which did absolutely nothing apart from make a loud rattling noise, so I switched it off again and tried again to sleep despite the stuffiness and lack of airflow....... And then it started! People's phones making beeping noises, cleaners walking up and down constantly, scrubbing floors, making up the beds in adjacent capsules, emptying bins noisily, phones ringing ... This went on for four hours, so completely I gave up trying to sleep. Utterly pointless! So I thought I would come out of the capsule and take a shower. First I went to the toilet room. Cleaner had emptied her supplies closet all over the floor, blocking the access to the toilet cubicles. Stepped over and entered a cubicle. So tiny inside that my knees touched the door while sitting on the pot, and my elbows touched the wall on both sides..... Cleaner (female) hovering around outside the door re-arranging her supplies, so found myself completely unable to concentrate on a number two despite 'coughing' as a hint that maybe she should give me some privacy.... Went into the shower room to get naked and shower, female cleaner hovering around inside there too. For goodness sake! So basically found this experience to be a total waste of time and money. Please, please, let people sleep if you offer day rooms!

Excellent location, 3 mins walk from Rinku Tokoname station and Aeon Tokoname Mall. 15 mins walk from Rinku Beach. Spacious room and toilet and bath. A bit aged but clean. Seaview room with enormous window. Pola products in washroom. Breakfast included in room charge but if you have to pay separately, not recommended. Nice staff with good english.
No convenience shop nearby, have to go to Aeon Mall which open at 10am, close at 9pm. check out at 12.00. I ask for a 30 mins delay and was told that I have to pay. Very rigid Japanese rules. If they were fully booked I could understand but they were not.
For a long time, it has been used as a corona ward and has been given priority to groups even after resuming, but it seems that personal accommodation reception has started from 9/1. I have stayed at the adjacent No.2 building several times, but this is the first time. Although there was no novelty in terms of hardware, I was glad that there was a machine in the lobby that could automatically check in / check out and the guest room TV corresponded to various distribution services. is. Breakfast is the same as the 2 building. The corner was divided into Japanese and Western food.
Facilities: Everything you need, very convenient, there is a free artificial hot spring on the underground first floor, very good
Hygiene: Very clean
Environment: Very close to Tokoname Station, about a three-minute walk, and then less than ten minutes to the big lucky cat head, there is a convenience store across the road which is also very convenient
Service: There is a waiter who speaks Chinese at the front desk
The breakfast is very rich
I used it when I walked ”town” in Tokoname. It is about a 3-minute walk from ”Meitetsu Tokoname Station” and there is also a free flat parking lot, so it is convenient to go by train or by car (I went by car). The main building I stayed in seems to have opened in 2004 (the annex is 2019), so it's not that new, but it was cleaned properly and there was no shortage of facilities and equipment. I felt a little old in the form of shower toilet (because it is Tokoname, naturally shower toilet instead of washlet). Since it is a route inn, the buffet breakfast was free and there were many types of Japanese and Western menus, so I was satisfied. I didn't use it, but there was also a large communal bath of radium artificial hot springs. There were restaurants in the area between Tokoname Station and Tokoname Boat Racecourse, and there were several convenience stores within walking distance.
Location is super near to Nagoya airport. It’s quite convenient for us to check out for early morning flight next day. The room is spacious. The only thing is their dressing table mirror face to the bed :( . The rest is good for stay.
Since I had an early morning flight, I selected for this rather newish Marriott branded property (I believe it was < 3 year old) close to Nagoya Chubu International airport for 1 night. Location The property is located about 5-10 mins walk from the Nagoya Chuba airport station. Outside of that, there is not much in the area outside of other nearby airport hotels. It is located next to the water, therefore the waterview is quite assured. The hotel does provide an airport shuttle especially during the morning hours - which I did not use as the walk to the airport was very doable even with large luggage. There is a walk bridge connecting the terminal to this airport hotel area. Check In I arrived quite late, around 11 pm at the property to intially an empty lobby area but did get busy after. I was helped immediately by what seems to be the only agent working that evening. I already saw on the Bonvoy app that one of my room was already upgraded to a Junior suite, while the 2nd room in my reservation was the room type that I had reserved. This was quite a long time ago as an Elite Titanium that I received an upgrade especially at a Four Points property. I was asked to select my welcome gift which I selected for the breakfast - since it already starts at 6 am which gave me sufficient time to have breakfast before going to the airport (since I knew at that the JAL domestic lounge would have zero options for breakfast). Room One of the room was on a lower floor, while the Suite was on the highest floor of the property (5th if I remember correctly). As expected it was a very spacious room - although without any separated bedroom and living area. The interior decoration of the hotel was aviation based and on the industrial concept - with a lot of dark tones - which I liked a lot, but I guess this is very personal point. On the other hand, there was no real option to brighten up the room further as the lighting was limited too - so it's not the best if you're someone who prefers a more lighted/bright room. The room had a large floor to ceiling windows facing the water, which in the morning I already noticed would have given the room a very bright feel with the natural lighting. There was no closed wardrobe, but it was an open concept. The bed was the main object in the room with the working desk situated behind the headboard area (this reminded me of the Metropol Belgrade property room). Outside of this, there was a small sitting area with a nice view towards the water and the terminal and hotel buildings. There was a small in room gift left by the hotel as an Elite welcome gesture - which was nice. The TV was of a larger size with the usual channels for an international chain hotel in Japan. Internet speed was good - stable and worked well for usual usage. The climate control in the room worked well being silence and managing to keep the room temperature as desired. Sleep quality was good - the bed did seem to be the US King siz
Room is so nice. 5 min walk to the airport for the flight check in, so convenient for those taking morning flight out of nagoya. Breakfast is nice, good variety. I will be back to this hotel if I come to nagoya again.
