We stayed at Yu Kiroro for one week and it was the best vacation my family could have asked for! You definitely need a car if you will be staying here and there’s plenty of parking for guests outside and near the hotel across the street. The entrance is very welcoming and we felt at home right away. When you check in, each guest receives a complementary parfait and one access to private onsen. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with dish-washer, oven, microwave, and a massive fridge so we simply bought groceries when we felt like staying in at a local supermarket (I recommend TRIAL). The bathrooms were also very nice with room and floor heating so your feet won’t get cold in the morning. The sheets were crisp and clean and the massive window in each room had an amazing view and sunlight on a good day. The restaurant within the hotel was very affordable yet served high quality food with great view of nature. They also offer family friendly activities such as horse riding, morning walks, and outdoor bbq. Overall, it was a great experience to escape from the city to relax and go to onsen every night before it closes at 12 am. They are also very reasonable with room keeping and respectful with our privacy and time as we stayed in a lot. This place is a must try, and we will definitely go back especially in winter! We could not prepare the room that we had reserved for 4 days and 3 nights (stay without meals) from August 3rd to 6th. It's like double booking.
