We have been staying at Cwrt Bleddyn for 35 years and have seen many changes over the years but one thing has always remained constant- the welcome and friendliness of the staff. As I read some of the reviews it appears that I’m staying in a different place! Our room has always been spotless and today before we left we enjoyed the most delicious breakfast. Yes the place needs a bit of a tidy up and I feel sure the new owner will be onto it very soon. We thank everyone there for welcoming us and catering for our every need. Lovely hotel, only stayed 1 night for work. May return if given the opportunity. Staff were friendly, rooms are decorated beautifully. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant was good and gardens well kept. WiFi was great. I was offered a newspaper with a wake up call! And a free glass of Cava on arrival! Those little touches make all the difference!

I stayed at this hotel recently for a conference at the ICC, and I must say this place was great in terms of cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I will be staying here again for future trips! The walk to the ICC could be better as you have to cross many traffic lights, but that's for the council to fix! Loved the breakfast by the way!

Always spotlessly clean. Reception always very nice. Rooms have all you need. Comfortable and Clean. USB sockets, reading lights and lamps, Samsung 32” Smart TV compatible with with mobile phones, tablets and pc/lap. Desk with desk lamp and luggage storage along with open wardrobe and bedside drawers/unit. Large full size mirror. The Queen size bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows/bedding. Bathroom is one of the best I have seen In hotels with modern and clean fittings. Subway tiling with chrome finish fittings, large bath with waterfall shower and over bath shower attachment for when just your hair needs washing. Huge fitted mirror with lighting and ample space for your toiletries etc. Towel rail and door hooks all complete the better than most bathroom. Towels and toiletries/hand wash/kettle and mugs, glasses, quality hangers and the attention to details all complete a good value room. The hotel flows on to the pub/ restaurant. Being Green King the food is all good. An extensive food and drinks menu. Easy and user friendly app allows ordering from your table for food and drinks. Overall the convenience of both hotel and bar with good service and good value a highly recommendable place to stay whether your here for business, leisure or just a night or two r&r The New Inn @ Green King always hits the mark. If you have breakfast with room it's served at the restaurant with hot & cold options Continental and Full English. Both perfectly presented and quality products. Parking for guests is free and input of car registration avoids any after stay fees.

The Holiday Inn Newport is an ideal hotel for our base using Eclipse Holidays. The location meant it wasn't far to travel to Cardiff, The Royal Mint and Barry Island. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are helpful and polite, especially Jamie and Amanda.

Stayed over for one night as close to Bristol and stopping off after dropping daughter to Uni before travelling home the next day. Lovely venue, pleasant staff, great accommodation, great views and a very good nights sleep. A wedding was in full swing but it didn’t impact on our stay at all. Breakfast was amazing butIf I have any gripes, the Bolognese was clearly microwaved and bland and better bread could have been used for breakfast rather than the clear cheap sliced stuff. Overall very impressed and a lovely evening stay, will be back I’m sure.
