My stay at the Ibis Hotel in Villefranche-sur-Saône was pleasant and convenient. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the highway. Located right next to the autoroute, it’s perfect for travelers looking for easy access without the hassle of long detours. Surprisingly, despite being so close, there was absolutely no noise from the traffic, making it a peaceful place to rest. The staff here were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. From the reception to the restaurant, the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It’s this kind of warm service that really makes a difference when traveling. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, offering the essential comforts at a reasonable price. While it’s not a luxury destination, it’s a great choice for those needing a convenient stopover during a road trip or business stay.

This is well situated a few minutes from the motorway and yet in the town centre for bars and restaurants. We regularly stay here as a stopover to Provence and it's always very good value. Superior rooms are inexpensive and very comfortable and quiet. Car parking (free) accessed via the back of the hotel. It's a bit tight and if full then there's ample street parking outside the hotel. Express breakfast is excellent and outstanding value for money; make sure you ask for 'express'.

Stayed here whilst travelling home from the Alps, we normally stay in Villefranche (which is a very nice town) and unfortunately the hotel we normally stay in was full so we had to stay here. Sadly this is a contender for one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The parking is in an extremely cramped underground car park and if you have a large car you will find it very difficult to park. When we arrived at reception rooms had not already been assigned to us and the receptionist took ages to check us in and give us our keys. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are so small that you can barely move and certainly not reflective of the photos on the website. Given the price (nearly €100 a night) this was very disappointing. When we arrived for breakfast which was supposed to be available from 7am which we needed as we needed to leave for onward travel we found it was not ready and we needed to wait another 15 minutes for staff to have it prepared. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Chambre, restauration, petit dej très bien Central et en prime une petite piscine sur la toit. Seul bémol le parking pensez à le réserver Personnel à l’écoute et agréable . Un bon plan sur le secteur, proche de l’autoroute sans nuisance sonore

La ubicación, aunque está un poco alejada de la autopista, es buena y se llega enseguida. La zona es aparentemente tranquila y a menos de 5 minutos hay un supermercado por si es necesario alguna cosa. No salimos por la noche, así que no podemos valorar más de la ubicación. El desayuno tiene un poco de todo.

Nous avons eu plusieurs interlocuteurs par téléphone, tous très bienveillants et arrangeants. L'arrivée autonome le soir est très facile. Chambres petites et salle d'eau minimaliste, suffisant pour une nuit en transit Petit-déj très bien

The hotel is very comfortable, near the motorway.. Good staff and available
