Excellent
We booked this hotel because of its positioning and beautiful unobstructed view of the sea. Our ferry arrived very late in the evening and there were no taxis in sight. We found an open cafe and they were kind enough to call a taxi for us. The hotel is definitely not an easy walk if you’re arriving by ferry (on foot) especially at night. Once at the hotel we were warmly greeted, and upgraded to a room that was a larger than we’d booked. The room was very clean and comfortable with a million dollar view. Breakfast was very nice and had a wide selection of breads and cakes, cheese, cereal etc., something for everyone. We took advantage of the fact that the hotel offered dinner and it was lovely! On a chilly evening they set up our table next to a clacking fireplace! Perfect! We ate there three out of four nights 😉 Our other choice for dinner was a three minute walk..so, you have choices. With regards to location, it was perfect for us, you can either walk down to the city centre or take the elevator to the promenade and stroll around the harbour. It’s about a 15 minute walk to town. We would highly recommend Hotel des Gouverneurs! Thank you for your hospitality 😊

UUlfGpunktI lived in the apartment on the ground floor for 8 days. Beautifully quiet, with a view between the mountains and the Gulf of Saint Florent. Everything was functionally furnished, I didn't use the kitchenette or the air conditioning. The bathroom window and the window in the bedroom had a pleasant draft thanks to the fly screens. The mattress was very comfortable. The contact with the owner, who is from Germany, was very friendly and uncomplicated. The breakfast was great, I would like to highlight the homemade jams and varied cakes. All in all, an accommodation that I can recommend!

BboywonderRooms were modern, thoughtfully appointed, and tastefully furnished. Our family of four got 2 connecting classic rooms. The best part was definitely the staff. So professional, so efficient, so helpful, and very kind, especially to the children. They were always 2 steps ahead - eg asking if we needed dinner in the downstairs restaurant, giving a small gift to the children to occupy them at breakfast, and asking if we knew where to park. We will be back in Bastia in a week and staying at the Best Western again. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. Building in its juice, with still private apartments in the floors, original combination, but it seems not exceptional in Bastia. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful to get the rooms on the 5th floor, and the staff is very helpful to get the stairs down and up. No parking, but given the building and location, it is understandable.
