The B&B is close to the scenic area, and there are restaurants nearby, which is also very convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and basically responds to any request. 🍀 Jiayi Village in Dushan County, southeastern Guizhou is a village inhabited by Buyi and Bai ethnic groups. It is located on the peaks of 1,200 meters above sea level. It takes half an hour from Dushan County along the winding winding mountain road. There are three oldest old wooden houses here in 1958. With the theme of poetry, they have been transformed into 8 guest rooms with different design styles, named: Book of Songs, Yong Huai Shi, Taibai, Zimei, Dongpo, Baishi, Shangyin, Nineteen ancient poems. 🍀 One of them has become a very unique library, named ”Bicheng Books”. There are three large bookshelves next to it, covering an entire oversized wall from top to bottom. The old furniture has been re-scrubbed And restoration, the old building was built into a new space, still maintaining the original memory of time. 🍀 They have a total of four stores in Guizhou. Bicheng is the second store of the ”Heart of the Mountains” brand. It took 6 years to form a team that specializes in renovating old houses, from drawing, material preparation, infrastructure, From decoration to layout, new functions have been awakened in old buildings. Every link has endless stories. 🌹 Hotel environment: 🍀 Fall asleep to the croaking of frogs, wake up to the crow of roosters, and through the clean floor-to-ceiling windows, you will see green terraces and tea gardens, with mist and smoke curling up. It is more than 300 meters away, and there are few people from the east gate of Xiaoqikong! Convenient. 3. I am a person who cares very much about hygiene. The towels are cleaned by professional institutions and are very clean. Before I checked in, I called the boss to help clean the hygiene. The boss said that she had done a five-star hotel. After cleaning, the hygiene will be checked. Convenient after check-in is really clean. 4. Although there are not many types of breakfast, the rice noodles taste good. [About service] In Cantonese, it is said: no bomb! There is nothing wrong with it. The service attitude is very good. He will help carry the luggage upstairs. When he came downstairs to check out, he immediately came to help carry the luggage. He also included breakfast, including soup noodles, porridge, brown sugar buns, eggs, and soy milk (still squeezed with real ingredients). Finally, I went to Miaozhai the next day and didn’t know how to operate Haoxing.com, so the boss helped me buy it. The next day, he also sent us to the bus station and sent us to Xiaoqikong with an elderly couple. The boss is very good.
[About the room]
The room is clean and hygienic, all disposable, including towels. Few homestays can do this, and it is a smart toilet. I went there in the off-season and upgraded the room for free. It is not far from the main street for eating (about 5 minutes away), which is quiet in the hustle and bustle!
It is precisely because of these that I have a good impression of Xiaoqikong. By the way, pay attention to avoid the pits of Qianhu Miaozhai, whoever goes there will be a big complaint

SScarletTheWanderer⛰ This is a wonderful homestay about two hours drive from Guiyang Airport. It has one of the most beautiful views overlooking tea plantations and mountains in the distance. 🍵 🌅 The sunset from the balcony is just divine. We communicated easily through WeChat prior to arrival and the staff were very friendly and helpful in trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. The dinner was absolutely divine and served on the balcony for us to enjoy the sunset. There were a couple things that could have made our stay a little better and are important to note. These bungalows get full sun all day, so on sunny days like when we arrived, they were very very hot. It cools down at night a little which is great, but our room had an issue with both Wifi and the AC so it was very very warm. The floors weren’t that clean, there was some dust and the bathtub hadn’t been properly cleaned. For this price point these are expected at a better standard. Overall it was a really nice experience, the location perfect, the mountains are very quiet and secluded and the night stars were epic! It’s just these small details that added up- felt detracted from how wonderful these bungalows could be. Again, the staff was very helpful in trying to solve these small issues and the food and early moring views were incredible! Would def go back for those things!

SsailwangA very clean small shop. The boss personally picks up and drops off at the station, and the service is very considerate. When you open the room, there is a light fragrance of flowers, which smells good; the whole house is equipped with smart appliances: projector, small screen, electric curtains... It is not far from the ticket hall of the scenic spot, it takes about ten minutes to walk, and the boss was considerate in the morning. After cooking the noodles, the only drawback is that the bath water is not too hot. Maybe we didn’t adjust it properly. Overall, it’s a very good B&B. The boss gave us sugar cane, which is so sweet❤️

GGuest UserTo be honest, I was originally planning to give a bad review because it was already 11pm when I arrived, there was no one around, and the lights were very dim. The two boys we were in were very scary. We knew that we were staying in an old dormitory that had been renovated. I'm even more afraid of the house, which is obviously quite remote and yet has to be decorated in this style.
But when I got up the next day and walked around to learn about the history of the hotel and the stories behind the great people, I realized that this place is not easy either. I strongly suggest that lights should be added to the statue of the Chairman. No matter how late at night, you won’t feel scared when you see the statue of the Chairman! Otherwise, it would be hard not to be scared with this environment and location!

SScarletTheWandererWe had an incredible stay here. The views from the rooms are incredible and look out to the karst mountains and rice fields below. The rooms were clean, the showers strong and the sheets and bed were comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. Breakfast was a big bowl of fresh noodles. The food was delicious, fresh and very flavourful! The staff were so kind, friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The owner went out of his way to help us have the best time during our stay so we could see as much as possible in the park! It’s located right inside the Libo Maolan National Nature Reserve.
Navigating your way there is easy and there is plenty of free parking out front. At night the only sound are the frogs and crickets and it’s so quiet. We saw an incredible darkened sky lit up with stars, the most I’ve seen anywhere in China, you could even see the milky way!
We went on a glorious 7 hour hike and the father was our guide. He was by far the best nature park guide I’ve ever had in my life! He knew so much about the history of the park and all the names and traditional uses of the plants. Was very friendly too! Five hole bridge is only a 10 minute walk from here where you can go for a refreshing and much needed dip after a wonderful day exploring. The owner also drive us to the starting point of Qinglong Waterfalls and it’s wonderful- you can easily walk this riverside straight back to the hotel!
Would really recommend this place for families, couples or friends travelling as it’s just wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
