It was a off-peak trip before the National Day. The area where the hotel is located is not big, but the location is quite good in the local area, and it is convenient to travel and eat around. It was still a bit hot on the day we checked in, maybe because of the fatigue caused by the long journey. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff saw that we were tired and quickly provided us with drinking water. The warm and thoughtful service instantly made us feel a bit of cool warmth. Eliminates the annoyance of the road. We were quickly accommodated and entered the room. After all, it had just opened, and the layout and materials used were very thoughtful, and it was easy to use. We went out to look for food and came to the front desk. They received us very warmly and introduced us to the delicious food and fun places nearby. It was like taking a tour of the downtown area of the county. The breakfast the next day was quite sumptuous. I was so anxious to eat and on the way that I forgot to take pictures. Thank you very much for this stay. Manager Zhou in the front office provided us with warm and thoughtful service. I will definitely stay at your hotel again if I have the opportunity.

🍀 Jiayi Village in Dushan County, southeastern Guizhou is a village inhabited by Buyi and Bai ethnic groups. It is located on the peaks of 1,200 meters above sea level. It takes half an hour from Dushan County along the winding winding mountain road. There are three oldest old wooden houses here in 1958. With the theme of poetry, they have been transformed into 8 guest rooms with different design styles, named: Book of Songs, Yong Huai Shi, Taibai, Zimei, Dongpo, Baishi, Shangyin, Nineteen ancient poems. 🍀 One of them has become a very unique library, named ”Bicheng Books”. There are three large bookshelves next to it, covering an entire oversized wall from top to bottom. The old furniture has been re-scrubbed And restoration, the old building was built into a new space, still maintaining the original memory of time. 🍀 They have a total of four stores in Guizhou. Bicheng is the second store of the ”Heart of the Mountains” brand. The room is clean and hygienic, all disposable, including towels. Few homestays can do this, and it is a smart toilet. I went there in the off-season and upgraded the room for free. It is not far from the main street for eating (about 5 minutes away), which is quiet in the hustle and bustle!
It is precisely because of these that I have a good impression of Xiaoqikong. By the way, pay attention to avoid the pits of Qianhu Miaozhai, whoever goes there will be a big complaint

SScarletTheWanderer⛰ This is a wonderful homestay about two hours drive from Guiyang Airport. It has one of the most beautiful views overlooking tea plantations and mountains in the distance. 🍵 🌅 The sunset from the balcony is just divine. We communicated easily through WeChat prior to arrival and the staff were very friendly and helpful in trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. The dinner was absolutely divine and served on the balcony for us to enjoy the sunset. There were a couple things that could have made our stay a little better and are important to note. These bungalows get full sun all day, so on sunny days like when we arrived, they were very very hot. It cools down at night a little which is great, but our room had an issue with both Wifi and the AC so it was very very warm. The floors weren’t that clean, there was some dust and the bathtub hadn’t been properly cleaned. For this price point these are expected at a better standard. Overall it was a really nice experience, the location perfect, the mountains are very quiet and secluded and the night stars were epic! It’s just these small details that added up- felt detracted from how wonderful these bungalows could be. Again, the staff was very helpful in trying to solve these small issues and the food and early moring views were incredible! Would def go back for those things!

When you open the room, there is a light fragrance of flowers, which smells good; the whole house is equipped with smart appliances: projector, small screen, electric curtains... It is not far from the ticket hall of the scenic spot, it takes about ten minutes to walk, and the boss was considerate in the morning. After cooking the noodles, the only drawback is that the bath water is not too hot. Maybe we didn’t adjust it properly. Overall, it’s a very good B&B. The boss gave us sugar cane, which is so sweet❤️

TThomasCharming little hotel at the outskirts of Libo Ancient Town. Conveniently located to discover the historic district by foot as well as for day-trips to Xiaoqikong and/or Maolan. The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Lu Xiuping. She not only organized drivers to Xiaoqikong, Maolan and our next stop in Xijiang, but even helped us find breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a long day she came up to our room to bring us fruit and make sure we weren't missing anything. We would give 6 stars to her if it was possible; it is rare to feel as welcomed. Thank you for making this a memorable stay! We would come back and recommend this place to our friends. Thank you!

Although the decoration is simple, my mother likes it very much. She sat there for a long time both nights. The staff saw it and took the initiative to bring water. Thank you very much. The facilities are quite good among B&Bs in scenic areas in Guizhou. My only suggestion is that the pillows are a bit high. You can add two low pillows to make it more standard.

HhyacinthydzhThe itinerary was temporarily changed due to rain and we stayed in Duyun for one night. The two adults and two children booked two executive king-size bed rooms. One room was very big, thirty or forty square meters, but when checking in at the front desk, I was told that there was only one executive king-size bed room on the first floor. In order to be closer, I changed to a river view room. It's a bit small, more than 20 square meters, which is okay. The room is fully equipped with good night milk and a souvenir when leaving the hotel. Didn’t have breakfast, there are a lot of places to eat downstairs

SScarletTheWandererWe had an incredible stay here. The views from the rooms are incredible and look out to the karst mountains and rice fields below. The rooms were clean, the showers strong and the sheets and bed were comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. Breakfast was a big bowl of fresh noodles. The food was delicious, fresh and very flavourful! The staff were so kind, friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The owner went out of his way to help us have the best time during our stay so we could see as much as possible in the park! It’s located right inside the Libo Maolan National Nature Reserve.
Navigating your way there is easy and there is plenty of free parking out front. At night the only sound are the frogs and crickets and it’s so quiet. We saw an incredible darkened sky lit up with stars, the most I’ve seen anywhere in China, you could even see the milky way!
We went on a glorious 7 hour hike and the father was our guide. He was by far the best nature park guide I’ve ever had in my life! He knew so much about the history of the park and all the names and traditional uses of the plants. Was very friendly too! Five hole bridge is only a 10 minute walk from here where you can go for a refreshing and much needed dip after a wonderful day exploring. The owner also drive us to the starting point of Qinglong Waterfalls and it’s wonderful- you can easily walk this riverside straight back to the hotel!
Would really recommend this place for families, couples or friends travelling as it’s just wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
