We had a great stay here. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. This is an older hotel but is very well maintained. The room was clean and fresh and everything worked. The paint was fresh and neat throughout. The pool clean and the public areas well maintained. Makayla at the front desk was always helpful, pleasant and took care of any requests we had. Sarah who runs the bar/coffeeshop/restaurant was fantastic and great to hangout with over a morning coffee. The staff was friendly and definitely feels like a family. The location of the hotel is great about a 10 minute walk to Acura beach with lots of shops around you. The restaurants in the area are great for dinner. The hotel really gives you a sense of being hosted in the country. wonderful.

My recent trip to Barbados was elevated by my stay at Courtyard Marriott. The professionalism of the staff, coupled with clean and comfortable rooms, made for an unforgettable experience. Just got back from a cruise from Barbados around Southern Caribbean but stayed at the Adula for a couple of days beforehand. I thought it was a lovely little hotel very clean and staff really helpful. Not to mention Shakers Restaurant like 5 minutes walk away. The food at Shakers was really nice and the Long Island Ice Teas even better. My friend and I shared a quaint self catering Bungalow which had a lovely kitchenette and shower room. The pool was small but very clean and well maintained I can't recommend this hotel enough and I am a very fussy costumer, I have high standards and expect a good service when I pay for it, well done Adula you made my stay very nice. On a final note there are also some great lounge bars also 10 minutes walk away on the strip at the end of the road definitely worth a visit also.

I’ve actually lost count of how many times I’ve stayed at Accra but it will always be our go to hotel on the island. This is because the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The wonderful pool area and choice of 3 bars. Themed nights in restaurant. Also the Thai restaurant on site is excellent We had ocean view room with a wonderful setting across pool and overlooking ocean which very and comfortable, good selection of toiletries in room which refreshed daily and good quality towels There is also a kids club by pool area which looks great fun The location is perfect set right on beach and there was hardly a ripple during our recent visit There are plenty of bars. Restaurants and shops within walking distance If you wish to travel around there are plenty of buses and taxis available outside the door We can’t wait to return for Christmas

We had an excellent stay at The Rockley! The management, front desk, and housekeeping staff was very kind, always willing to help and offer a smile. Troy, Terina, and Zion always took time to assist us with recommendations, and even arranged taxis for us. Meantime the decor is a perfect mix of creative and authentic - not fancy or pretentious - rather colourful, welcoming, and artistic. From the moment you pull up to the entrance, the space is welcoming, with a gorgeous pool area to one side and the lounging food and drink area to the other. The kitchen is tucked away behind this area, with a spacious indoor breakfast dining area in front, complete with air-conditioning and a restroom that you can use at any time of day. Let's go inside now up to the room. The junior suite is extremely spacious for two people and would even be so for four (the couch is a pullout). It had a small but fully-equipped kitchen - minus an oven of course - a full bathroom with a raincoast shower (no tub) and a wonderful balcony with beachy ocean views and city sights to the left and right. It had a table and chairs outside, and another set inside, near the couch and spacious sitting area. There were plenty drawers, cupboards, and hangers for clothes, a large TV, a fan, and air conditioning. This room literally had everything, plus the decor was as cheerful as the lobby. The same pretty much goes for amenities at The Rockley. They have a fast, but small, elevator, tokens for beach loungers (umbrella included), fresh beach towels always available (no extra cost), and at least one set of laundry machines on every floor. Did I mention it is free to use? The bar has a decent menu for drinks and food, the food was pretty good, and there are specials at happy hour from 6-7pm each day. Some days they have posted events like a cocktail party with complimentary hors d'oevres, karaoke, and other activities that I can't recall. Probably because we didn't spend much time there. But it was good to know it was available, and great that we could get ice from them too. So, what is missing you might ask? Not much really! If I had to provide honest feedback, I'd say the food and beverage department shows some signs of ”tourist fatigue” in the outdoor area (not the breakfast crew). I do appreciate their slower pace, but they just didn't seem quite as happy as the other staff for some reason. More than than one time, I felt like I - and others around us - were ”bothering” them. And I'm a pretty cheery and hospitable person. Nonetheless, we still had some great interactions. As for the food, the lunch and dinner offerings were pretty decent. Drinks were good, too, but if the menu says “fresh lime,” I don’t expect cordial. Meantime, it is really convenient to have breakfast included, so I’m super thankful for that, but it would have been nice to see more fresh fruit and vegetables available, aside from a few melon wedges. The option to order plain eggs instead of scrambled was a thought

A clean and basic hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. I would stay here again if it was at a much cheaper rate as the price we paid was far too high for the quality of hotel that this is. The rooms are very dated and the pictures don't reflect what they look like currently. The shower was always cold for about 5 minutes before entering and so we would have to run this before we used it. The AC was great and did break during our stay but was promptly fixed by staff. The ”continental breakfast” is very poor. It is not a full continental breakfast and for the most part of our stay even basics like jam were not available to us. The breakfast only consisted of corn flakes, toast, some dry cakes (that were the same all week and so not fresh), one type of melon, bananas, and apples. This was the same every day and it was very disappointing as the way this was advertised you would imagine much more choice and for the food to be fresh. Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. it is in a good location close to the beach and it is easy to get around from the hotel with a bus stop outside and taxi rank not far up the road. There are also restaurants close by within walking distance too. It wouldnt be my first choice hotel and I would only stay again if the rate was incredibly cheap.
