My husband and I, with our two teenage children stayed at Life Hotel as a result of a long transit. It cost us 20euro from the airport to get to the hotel. We arrived and had a warm welcome from reception staff. Check in was seamless. The room was compact but sufficient for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the room was generally very clean. Please note that this is a room for a short stay. It’s not ideal for a long stay or for holiday purposes.

Clean, comfortable, and great staff. It looks... imposing... from the outside, but the inside was great. Reception were helpful, checkin swift and efficient, bar/restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Food: limited choice on the menu, but I stayed there for four nights, and ate in the restaurant each night with something difference each time. Portions are big, food was hot and fresh, service was excellent. Breakfast was fine, with an Austrian/German tilt to it (eg: plenty of choice of sausage!). Coffee excellent. OJ, although not freshly squeezed, was nice. Again, service good. Choice of three breads, a hot buffet, and a good choice of cold cuts. Room: temperature fine, duvets thing, although pillows were just OK. Nothing bad about them, just okay. Shower was awesome: huge, hot and good pressure. Plenty of power sockets, although no USB which surprised me. Wide choice of TV channels in all languages. Windows open for ventilation. Location: right next to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet (well worth a visit), and next to the highway outside of town. Other restaurants nearby, including a KFC, all within a five minute walk. Free parking outside and around the back. Taxi to the airport is EUR 70 (it's cheaper to get an Uber, if you can find one nearby - I couldn't). If you want to pay the Taxi by credit card, tell reception when you ask them to call for it. Misc: wifi was free and easy to use, seemed fast enough for Netflix. Soap/shower gel in the bathroom was decent quality; towels plentiful and soft. Summary: I'd stay here again. Big shout out to the barman Peter (the older guy with the Austrian moustache) for his service skills.

NICHT EMPFOHLEN, KOSTET MEHR ALS EIN VIER STERNE HOTEL AUCH WENN ES KEINS IST  Schlechte Familienpolitik für eine dreiköpfige Familie, Ehefrau, Ehemann und achtzehnjähriger Sohn, zwei nicht miteinander verbundene Zimmer für drei Personen am Wochenende 608,70 € inklusive Garage (9 Euro) und ohne Frühstück, wir sind auch am Sonntag und am Montag geblieben, damit meine behinderte Mutter nicht das Hotel wechseln musste, zum Preis von 411,00 Euro inklusive Garage (9 Euro) und wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Verbindungstür, mussten jedoch bei der Buchung 8 Euro mehr für die zweite Nacht zahlen auch wenn uns an der Rezeption mitgeteilt wurde das die Zimmer den gleichen Preis für die beiden Nächte hatte.Leider haben wir zu spät erfahren, dass es in der Nähe ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel liegt, das anscheinend immer günstigere Preise als IBIS Styles hat und im Preis sind auch  Frühstücksbuffet, Sauna, Infrarotkabine und Fitnessraum inbegriffen. Im IBIS Styles kostet das Frühstück nur 17,00 Euro pro Person. Es ist ziemlich lächerlich, wenn man schon für vier Nächte 1.020,00 Euro bezahlt hat, dass man der Rezeption auch mitteilen muss, dass das eigene Zimmer täglich gereinigt werden soll, das führt dazu, dass wir im Zimmer in einer Ecke eine Spinnwebe und Barthaare (nicht unsere) in den Gläsern im Badezimmer gefunden, zusätzlich fehlt ein Kleiderschrank, ein Bidet und eine Duschtür und auch ein Kleiderschrank. Wir hatten auch Probleme mit den Karten, um die Garage zu öffnen und um Hotel betreten zu können. 

Perfect location and big room also good service just short walk from airport to the hotel. Breakfast was tasty, many choices to pick. I would love to stay there again. I would recommend. We was stay there for one night becase we was got there 22.30 pm. Paid £97 per night.

Right close to the airport and convention center. Quite stylish hotel with large bar (prices are as high as airplanes passing by though). Rooms are quite ok whereas really small table if you need to eat/work and no kettle. Iron available at each floor and luggage storage room (only small lockers though). Too expensive for what it is compared to the NH next to it.

Mein Mann und ich waren bereits das zweite Mal zu Gast im Nils am See. Schon beim ersten Aufenthalt im Jahr zuvor waren wir von der Architektur des Hotels, welches ein wenig an jene Skandinaviens erinnert, sehr angetan. Die Bleibe passt perfekt in die wunderschöne Region. Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Details ausgestattet - unser Studio hatte sogar eine geräumige Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und vermittelt das Gefühl stets willkommen zu sein. Insofern man keinen Ausflug machen möchte, lohnt sich ein entspannter Tag am Pool. Auch hier war der Service tiptop - verdurstet sind wir mal definitiv nicht ;-)... auch gut so, denn die Auswahl an heimischen Weinen ist im Nils grandios. Mein Fazit: eine Wohlfühloase für Schöngeister, Weinliebhaber und jene die es sich einfach gut gehen lassen möchten. Wir kommen wieder.

Very spacious room. High ceiling. Huge bedroom with boxspring Bed. Separate room for toilet and shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with fruit salat, veggies. Müsli. Also glutenfreie. Joghurt. We got fresh made ham and eggs 🥚. Very attentive and friendly personnel.
