One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were so incredibly attentive and the food was fabulous! The evening entertainment was tradional and we really enjoyed it. Definitely put this place on your list of hotels if you are going to ***dawa!

Nestled amidst the majestic landscapes of Rajasthan lies a hidden gem that seamlessly marries luxury with tradition. My recent stay at this remarkable establishment left me enchanted by its ethnic charm and warm, homely ambiance. From the moment I stepped foot into the grand lobby adorned with intricate Rajasthani artwork and antique artifacts, I knew I was in for a memorable experience. The attention to detail in preserving the cultural heritage of Rajasthan while offering modern amenities is truly commendable.

Very large 300 year old historic haveli converted in charming hotel with historical decor rooms and grand interior court where evening meals are served under the stars with music entertainment and, if needed, fire pits near the tables. Breakfast is served in the interior dining room. The charming building is worthy of a museum, A great experience to feel carried away in time and history. We were there for 2 nights and they offered us the most exquisite rooms. They found a marvelous guide for us, Mr. Om, a friend of the owner who showed us all fabulous havelis. And the hotel offered us a free camel wagon ride in the village for happy hour. Very attentive staff, personalized service of a family owned hotel.

This is a beautifully restored Haveli in the middle of a small sleepy village. The rooms are all different and original with updated bathrooms. Beware of very slippery marble bathroom floors! The room was initially rather musty and felt cold but the heater helped. The pool area was pretty but basic and the spa is very basic and the massage therapist was away so a substitute came in who had obviously never performed a massage and had very rough hands, so exfoliated at the same time! The food was very good, it was only ever at room temperature but very tasty and a high quality. There is a bangle stall, puppet stall and show at night. The young boys make the bangles with their family, they are so beautiful and such great presents, and n addition to helping the local community. The staff were all very good and attentive. There are lots of stairs and quirky features that might make it more challenging for someone of limited mobility. This really is a beautiful place that transports you back in time. A privilege to be able to experience this wonderful place.

We just spent a relaxing 4 days at this historic restored Havali hotel after 8 weeks of travelling. The room is plush and spacious, clean, nice fluffy towels, a comfortable bed, shower necessities supplied and all serviced daily. The staff were very curtious and helpful. I am sure all the 'unseen' staff were as helpful. I will give special thanks to Anil, Indraj and Jitu who serviced our meals and clean our room. Nothing seemed to be a problem and all our requests were done with a smile. This is a very popular Havali and I can understand why. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Our 3rd stay at Vivaana Culture- an annual ritual for our family to visit Rajasthan and to stay at this property. Vivaana is home away from home for us and everything here is amazing in terms of amenities, the vibe is so positive all around. What they miss in luxury, they make it up in huge amounts of service, love and respect - true Rajasthani hospitality. Kudos to Mr. Simmons as he personally takes care of every guest making sure he is always smiling, talking and ensuring we are all looked after really well. Pooran, Jeetu and all other staff from F&B are amazing so keep it up. All other staff too from front office, housekeeping and even the security team are fantastic - always smiling and ready for a chat to share so much history about place. The dinner arrangements in the garden and pool area is sparkling with little bon fires all around (during winter) ***** with folk music and puppet show adds to the charm of enjoying your meals under the open skies Ask for room 101 (luxury room). Try the local Rasjasthani food and soak in the vibe of this heritage hotel rather than looking for luxury of a 5 star hotel situated in a metro city. You won't be disappointed. Infact you will fall in love on day 2 and 3 (if you are staying for more than a day) See you, Vivaana in 2025. Singhania Family Feb 12 - 17, 2024

Possibly the most ro***tic and beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in with the finest Rajasthani cuisine made all the more special by the attentive waiting staff and chefs plus the faultless, old school hospitality lavished upon us by the ever smiling, ever helpful, walking-talking historian, Mr Simmonds! This heritage hotel was a gem of a find, off the grid, in deepest Rajasthan near ***dawa, around a 3 hour drive from Jaipur. The restoration of this havelli is mind-blowing as is the stunning fresco work on the walls and ceilings. Waking up to the distant sounds of temple bells and prayers with *****s of sunlight filtering through the Belgian stained glass windows throwing a multitude of colours onto the walls was spiritual cleansing for my soul! The kingsize beds are very comfortable and the modern bathrooms are surprisingly spacious. The breakfast buffet is perfectly acceptable ***** with a live station offering freshly cooked dosas, omelettes, pancakes, waffles and puris. The lunch buffet consists of mouthwatering Rajasthani specialities but the very kind waiting staff brought out loads of off the menu dishes for us to try. As for the dinner - definitely not to be missed at this hotel. Served between 7-10pm, we chose to sit outside in the candlelit courtyard where there was a bangle making stall, puppet show and live folk singer with dholki player. The a la carte menu was extensive and every single dish brought out was delicious beyond words. A particular favourite was the dal bhatti churma and, of course, the home made gulab jamuns which we enjoyed by the firepit wrapped in duvets (it was a pretty cold night!). The standard of service at this property was impeccable and the previous two five-star hotels we stayed at in Agra and Jaipur could certainly learn a thing or two from the Vivaana Culture Hotel. My family and I were absolutely blown away by the attentiveness of the multi-lingual staff, attention to detail, quality of cuisine, beautiful accommodation and will definitely be returning as soon as we can. I, for one, will be returning with my husband for a ro***tic break and will be wanting the opulent royal suite with its hanging lanterns and frescoed wall art. A big thank you to all the staff including Pravin, the GM, who made a special effort to meet with us. The only complaint is that our stay was too short!

The three stars go for the beautiful way this hotel has been restored and put together. It is a combination of the old and the new. It has its corners and is a labour of love. The room we were assigned was at best average. In winter, it felt cold and unwelcoming as the stone floor had no covering. The lights were broken, there was dust and cleanliness was an issue. The service dropped a notch lower than the room. The tea provisions were literally a fistful , dumped on the table amongst other things. Perhaps it is the season and everything will be better on the summer!!!
