Mercure Chur City West Reviews

Location is off the town but easy transport by bus right at the front of the hotel, we love it! Moreover the guest card given by the hotel includes all the bus transportation free of charge! The only down side is the lack of thoughtfulness in the room. Bathrobes only upon request, slippers with extra charge, kitchen provided with not a single pot/plate and no tissue box. Other than this, the room is nice and new, and view is great!

Hands down, this is a very lovely hotel and is the most glittering gem in Chur! The place is….. - located in a vantage point that commands a superb view of the village. - nice and comfortable that puts it on the pedestal in the same league; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - very comfortable bed that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack; - quiet and reclusive, and conveniences are a stone's throw away; - Facilities just as described Simply the best accommodation!

Room was good, clean and just beside a mall Amenities are minimal which only provide coffee machine and capsules are limited. No kettle One thing is that the blind automatically went up during the middle of the night and ended up unable to bring it back down. Which is very inconvenient when we wanted to freshen up ourselves in the morning

A nice simple hotel with an ok breakfast buffet. The view of the mountains from our room was fantastic and the room it self was very clean and modern.

Clean and modern hotel, though the rooms were a bit sterile. We had a great view of the mountains which was nice, and it was easy enough to get into the center via bus or 30min walk. Biggest downsides were the 'gym' which is basically just physio machines without any free weights, and the breakfast which was always empty when we went (even at 830am). Overall a decent stay with nice staff, but the facilities could use some improvement.

Hotel was nice but overpriced and a pain to get into. After checking in we had to drive back around to get into the garage. I understand this design is probably not the hotel’s design but it still stinks. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we opted not to pay the overpriced $25 per person. This hotel would probably be very nice if you have activities in the area, but for the casual traveler like me, it is too much money for what you get.

Event it's not a walking distance from the train station, but taking a bus is convenient too. It's a modern and high building in Chur, with a view.

Fantastic views with excellent service. Bus from train station goes straight to hotel entrance. Linked to shopping mall and coop supermarket and restaurant.

A very lovely hotel in chur. Nice hotel, our room was mountain view, room spacious, hotel connected to shopping mall. The receptionist lady was very friendly and kind too. Wish we had more time to stay longer in chur and this hotel. Lovely city with lovely people. Will be glad to come back to this hotel on our bext visit to Chur.

The hotel was amazing.

I stayed here in May 2025. The rooms were very spacious compared to other hotels, and the amenities were great. Everything in the rooms was clean. It's a little far from the tourist spots, but you can get there by bus without any problems.
