My wife and I have been coming here since 1986 and the quality is still excellent thanks to Michalis and Aleca (and now Michalis Jnr). It is kept spotlessly clean and a joy to stay here. We hope to keep coming for many years.

We booked Villas Michalis by the Chania airport because we had an early flight the next day. What a lovely surprise. We were greeted by owner and led to a lovely apartment with a beautiful garden and wrap around balcony. Took a quick dip in the lovely pool and drove down the hill for a delicious dinner. We could enjoy the sunset from our apartment balcony. The apartment came with some sweets and Raki to enjoy. We wish we came earlier in the day to enjoy the local beach which looked very inviting. Our stay was short but sweet. The beds are firm (but were fine for us for 1 night). There is no shower - but there is a large tub with an extension hose. A wall hook to hold the hose would have been nice but it wasn't really an issue for us for 1 night.

We ended up here for an overnight stay after a cancelled flight. On arrival the husband and wife who manage the villas were very helpful. They directed us to the Taverna Irene for a meal. The villa was well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The pool was lovely I went for a swim the next morning. The bed in our villa was a little hard for me.
