Originally camped in Yongchuan, the result was too hot. Just say that finding a hotel is just the next day to go to Songgai Ancient Town. I found this hotel, the location is more suitable from Songgai Ancient Town, and it is very quiet. Close to the road is not noisy. The environment is good and clean. Worth staying.

Come here for the exam, the location is easy to find, the room is big, but the facilities are not good, a small room in the middle is used to put a clothes rail, and then the toilet also hangs a photo of a beauty, the bed is smelly, most of the people who live here are uncles, aunts and grandparents, it should be the taste of their bodies, And a grandfather also opened the wrong door and wanted to open my door, but was called away by an aunt and said that it was wrong. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, including convenient washing and drying amenities, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location is superb, which was very close to the metro and within easy reach of all the major tourist attractions. The biggest highlight of our stay was the excellent service from the staff. They genuinely took great care of us, offering helpful recommendations and advice, and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely come back again.

BBennidaiwangThe hotel's decorations during Christmas created a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast was particularly amazing, with four types of congee alone, and seven or eight noodle options, ranging from Chongqing noodles to laksa. There were also freshly ground soy milk, tofu pudding, pan-fried dumplings, and many other delicious Chinese dishes. The guest services center was responsive and very professional. The only minor drawback was that the pillows were a bit too low, and the internal support was slightly uneven. A small adjustment there would make the experience even more perfect.

EEDMW221112We spent the year-end festive season here and had a wonderful experience from smooth check-in to check-out. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with great amenities, including a gym. The location is excellent and easily accessible to nearby attractions and shopping areas.

It's just a few steps from the subway and within easy reach of major attractions like Times Square, Luohan Temple, and Hongyadong. It's highly recommended for a short stay to explore the city center—perfect for relaxing while having all the sights within easy reach. A bonus is the night market with delicious local food, located right in front of the hotel building.

GGuest UserIt was our honeymoon trip. Room is simply located at the most prominent building of Chongqing, from the 44-47 floors. Pictures don’t make justice - we had floor-to-ceiling windows at the coffee table and toilet, it was a unique experience. Also super convenient for metro users, just 1 minute walk from Exit 5A of Xiaoshizi station and right next to the cablecar.
Bed is comfortable and room despite allowing smoking does not smell. Laundry is also available although only 1 washing machine and 1 drying machine is useful.
All in all, a must choice if you want to feel the greatness of Chongqing from your arrival.

__WeChat49422****I traveled to Chongqing alone and did some research. The general consensus was that while Jiefangbei offers convenient transportation, the guesthouses there aren't great. However, given the transport advantage, I still decided to stay in Jiefangbei, and it turned out to be the right gamble. This place, called Jiting, is designed much like a budget hotel chain such as Ji Hotel or Hanting, with a clean and minimalist style. A thoughtful detail is the water dispensers in both the hallway and lobby, offering hot and cold water – super convenient, as most hotels usually require you to bother the front desk for hot water. Moreover, the location is fantastic; it's right outside the subway exit and very close to Hongyadong. I'd highly recommend it to friends visiting Chongqing. The front desk service was also great; I went to Wulong for a day and left my luggage at the front desk, then picked it up upon my return to continue my stay, which was incredibly convenient.

Love Sunyata Ren-ai’s modern architecture and interior designed around its history. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed yet highly functional - a rarity for heritage hotels. For instance, the standalone mid-century wood wardrobe reminds you of what a priest would have in his room yet it opens up with plenty of storage and is lit internally. There are no awkward corners on the property, and space is strategically used and designed with a gorgeous mix of textures and colours.
Extremely hospitable service - hotel staff are wonderfully helpful and reach out ahead of your stay to follow up on details. That was how they found out my luggage had burst from a faulty zip and way too many books - immediately arranged for additional person to be on standby with a box for the books. During the stay, they worried about whether i needed extra binding for the luggage and then also had 3 colleagues on standby on checkout to help me bring my stuff out (xiaofan, ningning and xiaogan) who waited by the street with me to see me off. Honestly they were more worried than i was! And this is the pinnacle of hospitality where hotel takes greater ownership on addressing and pre-empting your concerns.
Room inclusions are great:
1. Breakfast is set in a beautiful restaurant in a stone basement. Selection is small but competently executed. The noodles are perfectly seasoned, fruits are fresh, coffee strong.
2. Afternoon tea - i had thought they would casually bring out the usual scones and sandwiches the kitchen was going to make on the fly, but it came instead with a choice of coffee and their desserts on display for sale. This means you get an intricate dessert - for free!
3. Supper - given my work and flight itinerary, i ordered in their complimentary supper, delivered at 9pm. again, not a matter of leftovers. They brought in beautifully plated 4 dishes for both nights, balanced in terms of staples, taste, texture, which is sufficient to satiate you without overfilling you for the night’s rest.
4. Photography - we all know the prowess of Chinese photography. i was apprehensive as i’m usually behind the camera and i wasn’t dressed for the occasion nor had professional makeup - the 3 weeks of non-stop work commitments showed! However, the energy and kindness of the photographers made the session really enjoyable, and not to mention the hotel provided an unmatched background for phototaking. They also edited the photos within an hour for you to choose from - you get the first 5 free, but you’d be tempted (AND PLS DO) to choose more.
In terms of location, this is a destination hotel, blending beautifully in Mountain City Alley, with all the modern creature comforts. You wake up in the morning to empty walkways, interrupted only by birds and curious cats. The street livens up to little shops selling trinkets, vintage pieces, coffee (many of them), clothes and snacks. In the evenings, the light warms to an orange hue and you watch the sunset over the city in the quiet of your room. Mountain City Alley is not (yet)as commercialised as other ancient towns (each selling the same suite of souvenirs and mala soup base) and each shop had its own personality. Hotel is perched near the peak of the mountain city alley. if travelling by car, you’d need to drop off at Jiashi Old Folks’ Home and take the stairs (5min) down to the hotel which has a discreet corridor next to the church. Hence those with mobility issues - consider yourself warned.
Sunyata is one brand to watch and I’ll be back!

GginqueenHotel is in an excellent location, in the heart of Jiefangbei. Numerous of food choices around. While room is not very big, it is very well maintained and clean. There's a one-tim complimentary drinks and cocktails (don't expect much) at the hotel's revolving restaurant and bar. Breakfast is pretty decent (as compared to the local hotel standards) and has a good spread. There's a gym and laundry room. Teenagers and youngsters will like the vibe of this hotel. Just to mention, there's an external massage parlour operator at level 6 of the hotel building where there's freeflow food and drinks offered during massage service in a projector room. Overall a very pleasant stay at Moxy, highly recommended!

The cleanliness in the room was absolutely impeccable. The sheets and bedding were as fresh as new, the floors gleamed, and even the corners of the bathroom were spotless. The facilities were also excellent; the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The air conditioning's heating was superb, making it comfortable to wear just a light shirt in the room. We even received a small complimentary souvenir when checking out, which really touched our hearts! This place offers incredible value for money. MM250031****This hotel was an absolute gem for my business trip to Chongqing! It's located right in the heart of the business district, less than a 5-minute walk to my client's office. This completely saved me from the hassle of squeezing onto the subway or getting stuck in traffic during rush hour, letting me sleep an extra half hour every day. The subway station is right outside the door, so public transport is incredibly convenient if I needed to go to other areas.
The amenities downstairs were a lifesaver for a business traveler like me: a 24-hour convenience store for coffee, snacks, and emergency supplies, and a Chinese fast-food restaurant next door offering everything from steamed buns and soy milk for breakfast to rice bowls for dinner. The food was authentic and affordable, so even if I worked late, I could always grab a hot meal downstairs, never having to worry about food.
The room details were also perfect for a business professional. The desk was spacious and flat, the chair was comfortable even for long periods, and the lamp had just the right brightness for reviewing contracts or creating presentations. The high-speed Wi-Fi was stable, with no lag during video conferences. The bedding was soft yet supportive; after a day of client meetings leaving me with an aching back, I could just lie down and sleep soundly until morning.
The front desk service was incredibly efficient. Check-in and check-out were lightning fast, with no waiting in line. I needed to print some contracts at the last minute, and the staff not only quickly helped me print and bind them but also thoughtfully asked if I needed extra copies – truly exceptional service. The breakfast spread was also extensive, with congee, noodles, rice dishes, milk, eggs, fruits, and pastries all available. I could choose whatever I liked, and after a hearty breakfast, I felt energized and ready for my work discussions. I will definitely stay here again for my next business trip to Chongqing!
