I booked the Club floor. Since it was a brief stay, I had a packed schedule. I was happy to be able to find enough food to eat (not just meager finger food that you usually get at North America or European Club cafes) for a quick supper in the club cafe before I went on to see the show. They had all kinds of soups, stir fried food with proteins, salad bar and beautiful and declivous deserts.
Speaking of the show, the concierge was very helpful in helping me securing a ticket to see a musical called "Love never dies" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a Phantom of the Opera renewal that were not yet performed on Broadway in the U.S. yet. The phantom Luke McCall was wonderful, ending my brief stay in Chongqing on a high note.

Amazing hotel, best in Chongqing I’ve experienced. Excellent gym, location is walking distance from good local food. Room clean and luxurious. Only minor issue was that they made it very hard to get to the roof (which apparently is available) and staff did not help.

Service was excellent! The staff were all very polite and courteous. They were always ready to help. Like when I needed to borrow an umbrella, help with calling a taxi, and asking for directions to tourist places. Food was also superb. I asked for hot chocolate during breakfast and I think it was a good hot chocolate (I'm very picky with chocolates). My room was just the perfect size and also the bathroom was big. I love my hotel view and bed was so comfy. I like being comfortable when I'm traveling alone and staying at a hotel that's convenient for walking around. I'm glad I chose Westin.

can't use the pool on the 53rd floor. This hotel overpriced by advertising its pool, and many people rent it only because they want to use the pool at height floor. The rooms are small, old furniture. There is no choice of food from European cuisine at breakfast.
