Come stay S Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei)

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff is really friendly and helpful, especially the staff on our check-in day. The room is nice, and we really enjoyed resting there. The hotel is not super near the Jiefangbei Street, but it is walkable and there are alot food options nearby.

Very positively surprised by the hotel. Amazing value for money. Rooms were very clean, quiet and had comfortable beds. Location is very good and walking distance to both Hong ya dong caves and the city center. Right next to JW Marriot Hotel. Staff doesn’t speak much English but did their very best to make us comfortable. No problem checking in when you use translator software like Google translate. Would stay here again when coming back to ChongQing.

Location was great with a 24hrs convenience store located right below. Cab drivers knows this hotel and not much describing needed. Service was excellent although the staff came in one of the day to clean up the room with the Do Not Disturb lighted. Overall it’s a good experience and I will definitely come back again to this hotel again. There’s a 田棒棒 mala hotpot which is very good and not overpriced located right opposite the street. It’s was so good and definitely worth going.

Excellent locations, very nice room and wonderful attention from staff. Check in was very easy and the staff made it straightforward. However, it can be challenging for taxi drivers to find with the given address. I had two such instances wherein a taxi driver had to ask for directions. That being said, you are only a 7min walk from Jeifangbei and there are a lot of excellent food options available. Right across the street are two amazing noodle shops. The room itself was lovely to spend an afternoon in when the temperature got far too hot outside for my Irish skin! Unfortunately the couch cushions were a little dirty, but that's only me splitting hairs. The entire stay was perfectly grand, especially for the price!

The hotel is set oddly within a commercial building, with another 2 hotels. I initially went up the wrong lift but am glad mine was the better one. Only in the lift did I realise there's a 3rd hotel at Level 29 (while mine is at Level 7). The receptionist was very kind to upgrade me to a twin bed room so I can check in immediately as I arrived 2 hrs before official check in time. The room is spacious though the shower and toilet area is a little small. The basin is set outside just after the main door. I like that the wardrobe is an open concept so my clothes can be left to air. Basic amenities are provided including disposable toothbrush, shaving kit and shower gels. The hotel provides free self-service laundry area on Level 7 including washing machine and dryer (but dryer is lousy, some of clothes couldn't be dried after 3hrs of roasting). Location is OK, about 10 mins walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street but because it's slopes and pebble stones on some stretches, 10 mins can be quite a walk for the unfit. It was also cute that they gave a packet of 土产 (their local snacks) at check out. Service throughout the stay has been excellent. I also love that they have this butler service via Wechat, where you can send requests or ask questions via it and get assistance without having to call.

i book 5 room together, one of the room give us a smoking room. which is very uncomfortable. (adi mention when booking, dont smoking room) other than that, it is consider ok
