Yingyueju Hotel (Chongqing North Railway Station) Reviews

Although the hotel is not new the room is nevertheless clean, big, comfortable and smoke free; bedroom slippers is thick & nice; Xiao Xiao checked us in & is friendly, courteous & helpful. Take the underground tunnel to cross the road instead of taking the overhead bridge because of luggages. Lots of eatery but mostly catered to the local palate. 10mins walk to North railway station North Square - ideal for taking train to Wulong Karst and other cities. Hongya  cave- over-hyped; smell damp not well ventilated; at the same side of the cave take the overhead bridge; walk the boardwalk against the traffic flow 10mins to get to Kuixing lou(魁星楼 ). You will see Atour hotel (see picture Arrowed), etc then go into the building and take the lift up to 22nd floor to see the touted difference in height of the surrounding buildings. Walk past the pavilion to the subway to get to Jiefangbei at Exit 1. Visit Eling park (鹅岭公园 ) and climb seven storeys to have an aerial view of Chongqing and the 2 rivers

I am truly impressed with my stay here. The staff were exceptionally attentive and kind. When I was about to go outside and it started raining, a member of staff immediately came over and offered me an umbrella — such thoughtful service. They also took great care in helping resolve the scent issue in my room and even sprayed a pleasant fragrance for me. I genuinely appreciate the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. I am very impressed and will definitely come back again. Thank you so much for the wonderful service.

Very near to Chongqing railway station but need to cross an overhead bridge which does not have escalators or lift so better if your baggage is not heavy. Room is clean and spacious. Alot of eatery near by.

Near to ChongQing North station. You will still need to walk about 600m, including to cross an overhead bridge where you need to carry your luggage up the steps. Plenty of eateries nearby. A number of hotels in the same building, hence lifts will be slightly slow. Reasonable place to stay.

Location of hotel was a little difficult to navigate, it was on the left side of the building when we arrived by cab. Have to enter into a building (shared across multiple hotels) and take the lift up to the hotel. There are a few eateries along the street on the first floor. Room was spacious but toilet small. The train station was right across the hotel - a short 7 min walk to the train station, but have to carry the luggages up the overhead bridge so make sure you’re able to carry them up & down the stairs! Overall a really convenient for a 1-2 night stay if you have to catch the train the next day :)

We booked the 2 Elegant Queen Room for 1 night and arrived around 11 PM+. It took us some time to locate the correct entrance to the hotel lobby, as it was not on the usual ground level. Fortunately, with the help of a local, we managed to find our way. There was only one staff member at the front desk assisting us during check-in. Since we booked 4 rooms in total, the check-in process took a while. It’s best to clearly show your booking details (especially in Mandarin), as there was some confusion and the staff mixed up our rooms. When we arrived at 11 PM +, many nearby stores were still open, which was a nice surprise. Check-out was fast and smooth. There are also plenty of breakfast spots located just below the hotel, which is very convenient. However, do note that the walking distance to the train station took us about 15–20 minutes with our luggage, so plan ahead if you’re catching a train.

Walking distance to north railway station. Disadvantage there is no lift or elevator to cross up/down the bridge 😔 need to use the staircase. Travel with heavy luggage is a challenge.

Perfect to reach the train station. Very cost effective. Good quality for the money.

nearby chongqingbei station. if you have a early train ride its perfect.

Very helpful front desk. Clean and comfortable room. Easy walk to the train station. High up so no traffic noise. The only problem is the elevator wait time (one of the four elevators was under maintenance). Lots of places to eat downstairs. Other than that minor inconvenience it was a lovely stay. Pro tip: there are a couple eateries with a more relaxed vibe in the housing development across the street.

Absolutely wonderful hotel very close to Chongqing North train station. Big and clean room, very nice reception ladies.Next time definitely will stay here again

The location is very near to the Chongqing north train station. It is just across the street. The entrance of the building is in-between two shops. The room is generally clean.

All are very good except no refrigerator in the room.
