Five-star rating, indeed! This is a true five-star hotel, no arguments there. Even though it's a bit older, the quality of the facilities, including the toilet and sink, is still excellent. I've stayed at a so-called four-star Four Points by Sheraton, and the difference is night and day – it was terrible. The price wasn't much different, but the service was significantly worse. The Hyatt's breakfast is amazing, with fresh-squeezed juices and incredibly delicious watermelon. The staff are also highly professional, and it was 645 per night. Even the chefs speak a bit of English, and the service flow is incredibly smooth. In contrast, the four-star Four Points by Sheraton near Chongqing North Station had poor quality watermelon and bottled juice, not to mention the staff who seemed utterly clueless. That was 509 per night. These days, hotel standards are so inconsistent. To guarantee hygiene, you really need to stick with a quality five-star establishment. Many hotels rated four stars can't even get basic hygiene right; they don't deserve the four-star rating at all.

The hotel's location is superb, right next to Jiefangbei, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Breakfast was standard. The toilet wasn't smart, and the elevator felt a bit shaky. Everything else was good.

Second time staying at Hyatt, and overall, my experience significantly improved. The room's cleanliness and attention to detail were excellent, and the breakfast spread was quite generous! Check-in in the afternoon was a bit slow, with only two staff members at the front desk.

This hotel was an excellent choice for my trip to Chongqing. It's super convenient for walking to attractions, with Jiefangbei being the closest. There are tons of food options nearby too. While the view from the window wasn't great, if it's your first time in Chongqing and you want to visit many sights, this is definitely the top pick. You can easily head in different directions from the hotel to reach various attractions, which is incredibly convenient. The room was also quite spacious and very clean.

There's a food street downstairs, and Jiefangbei is also nearby. **Facilities:** The facilities are great, really good. **Hygiene:** Very clean and tidy. **Environment:** It's an old, established hotel, very nice. **Service:** The staff are very friendly and recommended a hotpot place that was delicious.

The suite was very comfortable and had two bathrooms. However, the room temperature was a bit high and couldn't be adjusted much lower, so those sensitive to heat might want to consider other options. The service, though, was excellent! I highly recommend it to everyone and would choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is right next to Jiefangbei, and close to the subway station. The room is very comfortably furnished, and both bathrooms in the suite were stocked with towels and toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel's swimming pool isn't big but it's very clean, and there's even a sauna in the changing rooms.

The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the guest rooms are clean and well-maintained with good soundproofing, ensuring a comfortable sleep. However, there are areas for improvement. As a high-end brand hotel, I suggest incorporating more smart technology, such as smart curtains and toilets. The mini-bar charges should be waived and offered as a complimentary guest amenity. The Nongfu Spring mineral water doesn't quite match the brand's premium image; Changbai Snow would be a more suitable choice.

Facilities: Very good, though the elevator indicator lights were a bit slow to respond. Hygiene: Excellent. Environment: Located in the heart of Jiefangbei, very convenient for transportation. Service: The front desk service was excellent, they patiently resolved issues and helped us with a room upgrade. Suggestion: The breakfast could be a bit more abundant.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, surrounded by amazing food. The front desk service was also excellent. It was a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. A great experience overall!

Hyatt Regency Chongqing was the third stop for my husband and me on this trip. It's perfectly located just dozens of meters from Jiefangbei. The hotel environment and service were impeccable. What I appreciated most was how well my medication, which I'd left behind in Wuhan, was cared for after being forwarded to the Hyatt Regency concierge. Thank you again!

Great location and service! The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room was clean. It's only a 200-meter walk from the subway station, right next to Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the scenic area.

The location is incredibly convenient. Just downstairs are Jiefangbei and Delicious Street, and the subway station is also very close~ The staff's service attitude is excellent; they proactively open doors and help with luggage, especially the cleaning auntie, who is super nice!! The Napoleon cake was also delicious; I've heard so much about it. However, it seems the discount for hotel guests that I heard about before is no longer available.🥺

It's very clean~ Happy New Year's Eve! 😄~ I could even see Jiefangbei from the room! Getting around was so convenient!! The breakfast was good~ There were quite a few foreign guests at the hotel! The location is superb! I'll definitely come again...
