Service is exceptionally personal, and they had no issue offering flexibility on the menu with fresh, quality options. Bedroom was large, great quality bed with fine sheets, An ideal spot to discover the region.

Staying at Poggio Piglia was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beauty, peace, and genuine hospitality. The hotel perfectly combines rustic Tuscan charm with modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and deeply relaxing. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views of the countryside that made every morning feel magical. The food was exceptional, fresh, authentic, and prepared with such care. Every meal felt like a celebration of Tuscany, while the pool and gardens offered the perfect setting to completely unwind. A very special thank you to Sergio, Roberta, Katia, and every single member of the staff for making our stay so memorable. Your kindness, professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail made us feel truly at home. It is rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made all the difference to our experience. This hotel is as near perfection as one can get We stayed here three nights the hotel is a delight, the staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble, so helpful which started during the booking process. However for us the jewel in the crown is the food which is exceptional, it is innovative, having the most unusual combinations of flavours and beautifully presented a real wow factor!

Oh my gosh, the highlight of our entire Italy vacation! The property and the hospitality and the location... everything was beyond our expectations. I can not say enough good things about this place. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like celebrities. My husband and I both work in the 5 star hospitality industry in the U.S. so notice all the details and were blown away.

Poggio Piglia exceeded all expectations — the room was beautifully appointed, the pool serene and surrounded by stunning views, and the entire atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff were wonderful throughout, with a special shout-out to Sergio, who made our experience even more memorable. A truly special place — we’ll definitely be back.

From the surprise turn in the road, up tree lined drive and into this stylish small hotel, we were delighted in every aspect. Contemporary in decor and fit-out, with excellent facilities such as well designed and appointed large bathroom, beautiful relaxing garden and pool, looking over sublime Tuscan landscape, fabulous terrace restaurant. But special indeed was the hospitality and generosity of spirit of Sergio, Roberta and Maria, along with all the tireless staff. It took Sergio one second to not only help us communicate with our car rental company, on unexpected battery death, but to unflinchingly offer to,and drive us 1 hour to Perugia to collect another car… above and beyond!!

A beautiful, peaceful boutique experience. We stayed for a week in June. The room was the perfect size, comfortable and excellent bathroom. The grounds and pool were perfect to find a quiet spot to relax after a day hiking. The restaurant was delicious and convenient with enough choice we ate there 5 out of 7 nights. The staff are what make the difference, thank you Sergio, Bianca, Solare, Roberta, Poggina the cat and the chefs and cleaners. My only suggestions for improving even further, which does not impare the 5 star rating, is that there is no safe in the room which may give some travellers more comfort, and the towels and bathroom amenities are changed daily and so the hotels eco credentials could be improved.
