The hotel is well situated, not far from the train station and on a quiet street. It's close to a small shopping mall and near many of Chichibu's principal tourist attractions. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The room had what I would call a small kitchenette -- microwave, sink, and refrigerator -- making it easy to prepare small snacks and meals.

For this price, nothing is really lacking - with individual bathroom/restroom, TV, desk, enough space (except for restroom but it is common in Japan for this price range maybe for slightly higher), fridge. Seems just basic stuff but should be an economical choice worthy of consideration.
And although they do not have a very good command of English, things can be done in English.
A command not just related to this hotel, Chichibu worths a trip.
