Moxy Chicago Downtown

My stay at the Moxy Chicago was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, modern, and welcoming. The room was thoughtfully designed—every inch of space was used efficiently without sacrificing comfort or style. One of my favorite parts was spending time on the outdoor patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful weather, and chat. The lobby was full of life with a great DJ creating a fun vibe, and I appreciated that the snack and drink selection included quality options instead of just typical junk food. We were even welcomed with complimentary drinks, which was a really nice touch. Throughout our stay, we always felt safe, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I also loved that the lounge areas and games weren’t just there for decoration—they were actually being enjoyed by guests, making the hotel feel social and inviting. It’s clear that the Moxy was designed to bring people together while still providing a comfortable place to unwind. This stay completely won me over. My next hotel stay will definitely be at a Moxy property. I can’t wait to experience another location, and I would highly recommend Moxy Chicago to anyone looking for a fun, stylish, and memorable stay in the city!

Moxy was definitely a rad place.  I have stayed at the Portland location before but this was my first time at the Chicago one.  Staff was great, location was great, I would stay again.   I will say it is strange to have the shower by the bed but it was still chill.  It's you like cool employees and a killer vibe you should definitely stay here.

We planned a last minute trip on the 4th of July. We were able to score this spot downtown and had a blast at the bar after check in. We received two free drink tokens. Our room was cute, clean, and comfortable with a good view. There was free water at the bar and a great taco place in the lobby too. Highly recommended if you like to have fun.

Fun vibe. You get a drink token at check in and there are games and things to do in the lobby/bar. Clean room with a big floor to ceiling window.

Awesome choice!!! This was a really amazing boutique like hotel. Comfortable room, blackout curtains in case you want to sleep in. The staff were genuinely kind and made you feel welcome. Sundays several people congregated in the lounge areas as there was plenty of seating available. Taco restaurant on site for late nite snacks. The whole place was a vibe in itself.. I didn’t rent a car so most everything was walkable distance, restaurants the riverwalk etc….

Small rooms but good amenities. Very helpful staff and fun vibe in the lobby. Had benefits like free coffee in the morning and a fun taco restaurant available at convenient times.

Our stay at The Moxy was great! It was advertised as quirky and fun, and it certainly was. What a delight! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food at Zombie Taco was good. The hotel's location was perfect, walking distance everywhere and to public transportation for areas farther away. We highly recommend The Moxy when visiting Chicago.
