Blue Lagoon Hotel

Very disappointing – the rooms do not match the photos. The hotel is old and the rooms are poorly maintained. The pool and breakfast area are nice, but seem to be the only renovated parts shown in the photos. We found a large spider in the first bathroom and had to change rooms. In the second room, we found a cockroach and spider webs on the ceiling. The bathroom is extremely small and impractical: after showering, everything gets wet, including the sink area. The hotel also has no elevator, which was not clearly mentioned when booking. Overall, the photos are misleading and I would not recommend this hotel.

We liked the grounds of this property it is same in the pictures. Nice breakfast. Only downside is the musty smell of the room and the wall view when you open the sliding door. The staff who checked us in at night wasn't accommodating. I also asked if I can exchange the cold bottled water they put in the refrigerator of our room to a normal temperature ones (my child did not want cold water and I don't understand why they out the water in the ref) and she said no as all their bottled water is cold which isn't true as housekeeping the next day was refilling water from a huge plastic. We've stayed in more than 100 properties in Thailand over the years and their staff here aren't hospitable compared to others. The only one who was polite and bothered to greet us was the young staff who helped us with the staff. Not one from the front desk or restaurant greeted us.

Hotel is accessible to night market. Car park is ok. Room is ok. But room service at empty room started around 7 am which cause distraction as can hear the sound of staff walking and using plastic bag & taking. 1 Body soap and 1 shampoo (small tube) is only giving for 2 persons and not give one type each for one person. The pool is not clean.

Great location , good service but only needs to change the light bulbs at all hallways . It looks creepy and too dark and look hunting . Great breakfast and location and good value . Bathroom is tiny and wet bathroom hope to be improved

rooms are old n toilet small. location is great, near night market n plenty of eateries. breakfast selection is good n delicious. Staff is attentive and provide good service. Recommended

This hotel is a good location and you can walk everywhere in the local area. The breakfast was basic, but we found something to enjoy each morning. The room was a little dated but was comfortable and perfect for a two night stay.

The hotel was comfortable, in a good position and quiet. Receptionist very nice. Breakfast was quite poor to be honest. Just behind the corner there was a really good restaurant with very detailed plates, and a delicious coffee shop.
