I stayed here solo for 5 nights. It’s simple, charming, warm, well-located, and run by people who genuinely care. I would love to stay again.
The hotel is inside the Old City on a small side street — just 1–2 minutes from the main road, yet quiet at night. I felt safe walking back, even though I was slightly apprehensive before booking. It’s also an easy location for getting Grab rides, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus an excellent artisan bakery within walking distance.
The room is simple, clean, and comfortable. The bed had a firm mattress with a topper and was very comfortable. There’s natural light from both the balcony and the corridor window, and I enjoyed opening the balcony in the morning.
The toilet worked fine for me, but someone larger might find it less comfortable. The shower had reliable hot water.
What stood out most was the staff — very friendly and kind. During a busy festival, I had a transport issue, and they went out of their way to help resolve it. That kindness made a real difference. Thank you for a great experience!
