Chiangkhan River Mountain Resort
4.5/543 Reviews
This resort is too far to walk from the river walk/walking street, but we had rented a car and it's a very short drive. The trade-off is worth it - this is an extremely nice resort, the best we've stayed at in the north outside of any big city. The room was spacious with balcony and great river view. They provided a cot for our baby. The grounds are very well kept with lots of interesting things to look at (it's a selfie paradise!) Good breakfast buffet, everyone very friendly. Not worth dropping a star for, but I think the restaurant could open a bit later (the kitchen closes at 7pm but no rush to finish eating). Also be careful with the shower, it takes a while but the water can then get scalding hot and high pressure. With care though, it was good to have a nice warm shower with good pressure - yes, a contradiction, it's too much of a good thing and you need to be careful. Anyway it really felt like we were on holiday, it's a fabulous place to relax and honestly the staff were exceptionally friendly (it turns out that people here love babies, but they were always helpful anyway). If you have a car then it's easily the best choice, if not then consider it anyway but I can't comment on any transport arrangements to the walking street.
Capsule Hostel Chiangkhan

First of all, the brother who takes care of the capsule takes good care of it. Very friendly And the air capsule is very cool, the water flows strongly near the walking street at the end of the alley near 7-11 near the breakfast shop When returning, he came to send it to the car. Accommodation is loft style. And my luck is to stay alone in the whole hotel. It's like renting a hotel to sleep. It's calm, not busy. Finally, I recommend staying here. Very good.

The accommodation is beautiful, but the room has a musty smell. The room must be opened for ventilation for a while. The atmosphere around the accommodation is very quiet. The weather is just right. There is fog during the not cold period in December. The service is also good. The staff are attentive and take good care of you. There is a variety of breakfast. There are many to choose from. The noodles are very delicious, but the food served in the evening needs to improve. Overall, the first time I stayed I was impressed.
U Chaikhong Hotel

The school is in the alley. There is no river view. , Don't be wrong in the morning. I think the school is next to the water. There is a view of the Mekong River, the room is very clean, the mattress is very soft, grade A, but the room is very narrow. But the bathroom is large, there is a shower zone, a dry zone, complete equipment The staff are very attentive. The hotel offers free bicycles. As for breakfast, it will be a coupon to eat at the coffee shop with toast, boiled rice , Patongo, which is very impressive, not as luxurious as the mood. Sit and eat boiled rice at the shophouse is fun in another way.
RiverTree Resort Chiangkhan

Although this is a new hotel (built 2020-2021) I'm surprised that there aren't any reviews for it yet. The hotel is in a great location just outside the centre of Chiang Khan, overlooking the mighty Mekong River, with ample, free parking. The Walking Street area of Chiang Khan is about a 5 minute drive away and it's possible to park in the temple off Srichiang Kan Soi 21 or on Cha Khlong Road, east of the Walking Street area. The hotel itself is clean and modern, with nice swimming and spa pools. Rooms have small balconies with views over the pool and the river. There is a restaurant and cafe / bar onsite. The breakfast is mostly geared for Asian / Thai tastes, but there are enough options for the western palette too. The only downsides were that the water in the shower, although not cold, could've been hotter; there was no towel rail in the bathroom; there was no room safe. I would stay here again if visiting Chiang Khan.

The owner is not a favorite feeling of taking care of the customer, but the distance with the customer is appropriate, and there is no feeling of pushing, and it feels like itching, and it is a feeling of reaching the itch, and it is a feeling of reaching the itch, and it is a feeling of reaching the itch, and it is a feeling of reaching the itch, and it is a feeling of reaching the itch, and it is a feeling of Because a large washing machine can be used, you can wash without anyone else using it, and you will reduce the amount of clothes during the night. I would like to visit again in the dry season if I travel alone. The reason why it is reduced to 1 points is about 2 points. The first is the stonebed of the bathroom, which looks fashionable, but it is painful. The second is that the front entrance is closed at 21 o'clock, and after that, you must go to the back door. It itself has no way to some extent, but it is actually closed about 30 minutes early, so you need to be careful.
