Ambassador Pallava

We were a day late, due to being bumped from a flight. It was a struggle to get the hotel to keep our reservation for just the second night despite having paid in advance. (Trip.com were complicit in the confusion this simple request caused.) The room was pleasant enough. Staff did a good job on check-in. We had to leave early and were promised a packed breakfast at check-in without asking for it, which was thoughtful, but in the morning there wasn't a packed breakfast. Overall it might have been fine if we hadn't had issues beyond anyone's control. But there was a marked lack of ability to adapt to to changing circumstances.

V good hotel with a rich culture (K R Vijaya built n owned). Lunch n dinner always crowded. Nearby many locations.

Great hotel with vintage look. Nearer to Egmore railway station and Chennai cotton alley.

Nice hotel and amenities (pool and gym). Good breakfast options but overcrowded and difficult to get seat. It's a bit of a walk from the Metro, but walkable to the Museums.

Their executive rooms are very basic. I was not provided any upgrade. The response for the upgrade was that I am already in an upgrade room but that’s not it.

There isn't much to say than what a great place to stay away from modern looking hotels

Staff is very courteous efficient and kind. Prompt service very understanding. And helpful in a place away from home Rooms are spacious.
