Glad it was a short stay. Just for an experience. Would never come back. Pros -good hot shower -comfortable bed Cons -only one slow elevator to the shopping mall -dark strange reception -zero standard of customer service -frequent power cut -noizy music just downstairs till 12am -after the noizy music ends, noizy tv or whatever receptionist watches whole night -broken hair dryer -strange doormy dark desk light

Hotel Reception staff should follow 100% our request. In Business trip during check out I gave my Business card requested to follow accordingly in my billing address. But during checking our company accounts they mark as wrong address. For that I suffer a lot in office, even my whole bill is withhold now getting reminder everyday on advanced clearance.

Had a fantastic stay at this property which is attached to the largest Mall in Chennai. If your coming to chennai for shopping this is a must place to stay. Airport is nearby which takes only 30 minutes. They arranged us the airport drop too. Staffs are very kind and attentive. Adjoined Mall has all sort of shops including well known restaurants.

Terrible experience at reception. Surya still sleeping on a bench in reception area this morning and unfriendly told off my wife saying ‘ I don’t need your information’. We were promised a breakfast bag the day before, for departure at 7am. He rudely declared we could only get that at 7.30 when the kitchen was opened. Finally when the lady from the day before intervened he got us the bags. People like this should not be at the reception area.

Nice, practical design. Especially the wall to the bathroom that brings light all day. Very good shower with hot water. Quiet - no traffic outside. Good a/c. Small fridge. Safe. Very good, helpful staff everywhere. Good indian breakfast with a few "western" additions. Eggs or dosas to order. The hotel has a direct entrance to the Phoenix shopping mall with some restaurants and a good food shop. Just a few minutes walk from " the real Indian life" with small shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Staff: excellent professional staff; gave discount for inconvenience Rooms: quality varies by different floors on floor A, same as reception, WiFi connection nil inside room no towel bars at all in bathrooms; additionally, shower walls so high that it's impossible to throw towel over to dry not enough general room-lighting few wall outlets for charging beds on funny oversized foam cushion platforms, making it difficult to get on bed; felt like stepping on waterbed to reach bed. Access to hotel: inside Phoenix mall not easy to spot, whether by foot (from inside mall) or by vehicle ( through garage) garage level access is not sign posted security staff not informed about letting in different types of vehicles to the hotel access in garage; some wouldn't let in auto rickshaws or taxis some security guards didn't even know that there was a hotel in the mall Meals: Breakfast included nothing outstanding taste-wise, no fresh fruits, but sufficient

The BBD is situated in the Phoenix Mall of Chennai and has very well appointed rooms with tea maker, small fridge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with quite big bathroom. The bathroom has been provided with toiletries. The rooms are daily cleaned and fresh towels are provided The buffet Breakfast has good spread and staff is eager to serve you. Checkin and checkout is very smooth. The hotel has 2 dedicated entrances with dedicated lifts. If you are in your car then use mall basement parking area entrance which has dedicated free parking for hotel. The second entrance is from GF near Macdonald.

The worst hotel with the worst breakfast, ac not working, worst worst breakfast in a city like Chennai, never recommend this hotel. Worst stay experience, receptionist not available at the time of checkout.

Very comfortable stay with sensible, co-operative and helpful staff’s especially Rakesh and Cyril. Breakfast is nice, as well as the room serv. Obviously it will be my go-to place in Chennai. Thank you for their hospitality.
