Mercure Properties in Chengdu

Traveling with my elderly parents, our first stop was a hotel near Kuanzhai Alley. It was right by the subway exit, making its location super convenient and easy to find. It was also close to places for morning tea around People's Square. In the evenings, it was just a five or six-minute walk back to the hotel from Kuanzhai Alley. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with a good separation of wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Our hotel stay was excellent! The room was spotless, and the location is superb, right next to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. The front desk concierge service was outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Chengdu; this is my second stay. I've already recommended it to my friends. The breakfast was delicious with many Chengdu specialties, and the view from our floor was amazing, especially at night. I highly recommend it – definitely worth it! The location is excellent, right next to popular attractions like Kuanzhai Alley, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, and Chunxi Road. It's super convenient to walk to Fuqin Night Market for snacks and late-night supper. There are subway stations (Fuqin and Huapaifang) just a three to five-minute walk in different directions. The hotel's main entrance is right by a bus stop, and getting a taxi is also very easy. The room's floor was spotless, and the bedding was clean and tidy. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were neatly arranged and of good quality. Water pressure was strong, and hot water came on quickly. The large windows provided excellent natural light throughout the day, and the view from the high-floor room was expansive. It was very quiet at night, and the soundproofing was effective. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, provided fantastic service. She explained all the check-in details thoroughly and even helped us with our luggage to the room. During our stay, she proactively checked in on our experience and feelings, answered all our questions, and met our requests. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended!

This hotel is fantastic! The location is convenient, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spotless, the bedding is comfortable, and I had a fantastic night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. It offers superb value for money, and I will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Service: 👍👍 We requested a high-floor, non-smoking room because my family is very sensitive to smoke, and the receptionist immediately arranged it for us. We really appreciate it—thank you! Breakfast: There's a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. Surroundings: Very convenient, with a Hongqi Chain supermarket and a fruit store just a 5-minute walk away. Also, the fried rice noodles sold by the lady in front of the Hongqi Chain store are delicious (see picture), and it's just a 5-minute walk from here. Room: The only minor drawback was that the room and bathroom were a bit small. With two pieces of luggage (one large, one medium), it was a bit challenging to move around. Forgot to take pictures 😅

The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious, a great mix of Western and Chinese options. Parking was convenient and free. It's also super close to Jiuyan Bridge, just a few minutes' walk, which is very handy. Definitely my first choice for business trips!

If I could, I would give this hotel 6 stars out of 5. The service is excellent! They helped us with every request. The room was very clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed. We were especially impressed with the Chinese-style toilet in a standard room — that was such a unique experience! The location is great: just a 10-minute walk to the subway, with lots of shops and cafés nearby. Free water is available everywhere — in the room, the gym, and at the reception. They even have a free washing machine and dryer, as well as complimentary liquid detergent. On the last day of our vacation, we extended our stay until 20:00. But since our flight was delayed, we asked if we could stay longer. We eventually checked out around 22:00, and they didn’t ask for any extra charges at all. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the room — I only took a photo of the robot that delivers food to the rooms. But the room looks exactly like in the photos on Trip.com, 100% match. Overall, everything was perfect, and the price was also amazing. I’m very happy, and if I ever have the opportunity again, I will definitely choose this hotel! Thank you so much 🩷🩷🩷
