We checked in at night, the receptionist slept in a room behind the counter right on the floor, and put us in a room lower than what we had booked. The room was smoky, but should have been non-smoking. We returned to the counter to refuse. They don’t speak English, but they sorted it out - they gave me another one (what we ordered, but it was also smoky. The whole hotel is very smoky! The hotel is all shabby and very old, both outside and inside. Dirty floor with stains in the shower and room. The mattress is very old , dented and hard. I canceled that the bed was clean. Breakfast was very poor, disgusting drinks like hot invite and surrogate coffee, I couldn’t ask for tea - they gave me warm water. We paid for 4 nights, but we couldn’t live in such conditions. We contacted Trip.com, thanks to us they issued a refund and we left for another hotel. There is construction nearby, dirty streets, a concrete mixer was working outside the window all night. One plus is that there is a park nearby! This is a terrible hotel for smokers, with a breakfast room behind the garage you have to walk down the street Beautiful photos do not correspond to reality - I do not recommend them.

The first night was quiet and there were no mosquitoes, but I didn’t sleep well due to my own reasons (because I am a very poor sleeper, and quietness is very important to me). The next morning I was very sleepy. After being satisfied with the hotel accommodation conditions, I went to the front desk to renew for two days. I didn’t expect that there was a family living next door who didn’t need to sleep at night. They kept chatting and laughing all night, as if they were talking in my ear. I couldn’t bear it anymore. At around 12 o’clock, I told them through the wall to stop making noise. Unexpectedly, they actually agreed. It was enough. This shows the quality of the sound insulation. What’s more, I was woken up by mosquito bites just after I fell asleep. I had to get up with my children to fight mosquitoes. After struggling like this all night, I ran to the front desk early in the morning and said that if the next door was not available, they would arrange something else for me. The room, the room was not full of mosquito bites from two bugs. The front desk clerk said angrily to me, and there is no room change available now. Seeing that her attitude might be bad, I said to her, "Will you take care of the situation this afternoon? There's no rush now." Since I didn't have any rest, I went to the panda base with my children and I didn't have much energy. I returned to Shadian in the afternoon and asked the front desk if it had been processed? I didn't expect that the front desk didn't know about this, but the two waiters had a very good attitude and actively helped to handle the matter. There is nothing to be afraid of if Shadian has shortcomings, but you must be willing to improve and deal with things proactively, so that you can do better. I am traveling with my children, and I pay special attention to safety. It would be more secure if the hotel could swipe the card to enter the room.
