Premier Inn Cheltenham Central (West/A40) Hotel

We stopped here to break up a long journey we were making as a family with children. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Good location 5 mins drive from the centre and good parking in the Premier Inn car park.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk into Cheltenham centre, with close proximity to the M5. The room was as expected. However, it was not cleaned every day, as requested. It was only cleaned 3 times in a week, despite our taking this up with the receptionist, on several occasions. The restaurant was in a small room, on the ground floor, which wasn’t expected. There was seating for 30 at one time. The tables were too close together for our comfort. Also, despite requesting fried eggs on arrival at the restaurant, these had not been cooked when required. Other than that, the stay was fine.

I normally love Premier Inns, but this one is in desperate need of an upgrade. Run down, old style hotel, with dirty towels (make up all over them on arrival), no extra pillows (had to request them), and relatively cold shower. Fantastic breakfast service by Joel and Cynthia though - both very friendly and attentive, eggs cooked to perfection, thank you!

We stayed for my husband’s birthday. We would like to give a big thank you to Lisa on Reception for decorating our room and the gifts. Also her local knowledge. Also a big thank you to Joel who cooked a wonderful breakfast every morning and to Cynthia who met us every morning with a big smile and sorted our breakfast table. We would highly recommend this Premier Inn; fantastic staff and a great location.

Having stayed in many premier inn hotels, we where most impressed with this hotel especially the in-house eatery, albeit not very big, was excellent breakfasts with very attentive staff, the chef, Joel was involved with all that was happening and was impressed how they worked as a team, Lovely breakfast.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this Premier Inn. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with very good air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast service is exceptional. Although the breakfast room is small , the service is very well managed and the staff, Cynthia and chef Joel are very attentive and helpful. Joel clearly takes great care to provide very good quality plentiful breakfast food and makes sure that all the guests are happy with their breakfast.. Although the hotel does not have a dinner restaurant there is a TGI Friday next door and a great selection of restaurants in Cheltenham town centre are only a bus ride or less than half an hour's walk away.

This is a very clean hotel. The young girl on Reception was very welcoming and checking in was efficient and quick. Room was very comfortable and spotless. Ample free parking. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was conveniently located. Good car parking area. Easy access. Clean comfortable room. Just right. Staff were helpful & cheerful.

the location was perfect, just approx. 10 minute bus ride into town. Our room was airy and clean, facilities were great, lovely attentive staff, Lisa and her Team were very welcoming and went out of their way to make my Birthday stay memorable. Thank you very much all of you for helping me have the perfect surprise weekend away. 100% recommend Cheltenham Central (West/A40) Hotel
