"Its near piccadilly station, there is the piccadilly and bakerloo line, very convenient. Walking to buckingham, trafalgar, big ben, oxford street, westminister, national gallary, chinatown is very fast and easy. Stayed at the piccadilly zedwell the last time i came, but this time came alone so booked this. Security was quite strict, he needed to check your card before letting you in. I would not encourage but i left my stuff in the capsule without locking and went out. They do sell lock there but i just forgot to bring mine ans didnt want to buy, nothing was lost. The place is nice and clean, the ventilation in the capsule is also good, i thought it was going to be hot, but turns out i was a little cold in the middle of the night. The toilet was clean, except the water in the shower or sink are both very hot, i could even see steam. They have soap in the shower and sink, but i brought mine instead. They dont provide towel, so do bring one. Overall the experience was good and nice, will definitely be back again when i visit london again."

"The location is super convenient, perfect for travelers with a layover at London Heathrow Airport. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip."

"When booking this hotel you known it’s not going to be the Ritz so this review is fair for the type of hotel. The location is super central yet the hotel is a zen of calm. It’s a little strange having no windows anywhere but the design works to minimise the effect. Rooms are what you expect, incredibly simple but clean and decent bathroom with toiletries and fresh towels. Decent wifi means you don’t miss a TV and this is not a hotel for lounging, it’s a bed for the night which is comfy enough if a little low to the ground. The gym is an additional fee which the website doesn’t make super clear - £10 a day. Despite the positives, the bedding was bad! Blood stained sheets and bed bugs! I was biten all over during the night and awoke to dozens of red blotches all over my body. It really puts me off returning despite everything else. It is good value for money but you don’t expect bed bugs!"

"The location is indeed convenient. However, the hotel has no air conditioning, and the front desk queues were long and slow, making me sweat profusely. The original room they gave me was tiny, and worse, it was right above a bar. Even with the windows closed, the noise was unbearable. I managed to request a room change at the front desk, and luckily, they moved me to an inner room, which was much quieter! The only odd thing was that the front desk wouldn't immediately give me a new room key (even though I still had my old one); they insisted I clear out the old room first and come back to the front desk with my luggage. After some discussion, they agreed that only one person needed to go down to pick up the key, which was strange. The room's cleanliness was very mediocre; the water from the kettle was still milky even after the second boil. The windows were also covered in stains."

"I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. There was a small issue with my booking through Trip.com, and because of that I was delayed for around 20 minutes. Trip.com handled the issue and gave me coins equal to £25 as compensation, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed with the hotel reception service. The receptionist was not very welcoming and came across as rude. Instead of allowing me to wait inside while the booking issue was being sorted, I was made to wait outside for a long time. This made me feel uncomfortable and not treated properly as a guest. I understand booking issues can happen, but the hotel staff should communicate politely and handle guests with more care. The customer service at reception definitely needs improvement."

"Everything was okay except the breakfasts, we stayed 2 nights & on both occasions the coffee machine was serving the coffee cold. I ended up having tea on both days. Also the hot food was not kept topped up, ie: eggs had to be waited for whilst the food on the plate went cold. I know of one woman who complained & was refunded for cold food & no coffee. The cost for breakfast is now £13.99, service at this price should be a whole lot better. Not recommended."

"I chose this hotel because it was close to an event I was attending. The location was perfect for me. The breakfast wasn't the most varied, but I never left hungry. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights. A nice touch was having four hangers for clothes. Overall, I was happy with my trip and the hotel. The photo was taken upon check-out, but of course, everything was clean when I checked in."

"The location of this LSE accommodation is absolutely superb; it's very centrally located. There are two tube stations nearby, Blackfriars and Southwark, both just a 10 to 15-minute walk away. Bankside Pier is also a 10-minute walk, where you can catch an Uber Boat. Tate Modern Museum is right across the street, and behind the museum are the Thames riverside, Millennium Bridge, and St Paul's Cathedral, all within easy reach. Borough Market is also just a 10-minute walk away. Considering the excellent location, a single room with a private bathroom at this price, including breakfast, offers unbeatable value for money. The breakfast is very generous, served from 7 AM to 9:30 AM, featuring sausages, fried eggs, bread, milk, yogurt, fruit, and more. Furthermore, the accommodation is quite clean, and the room was spotless. The front desk staff handling check-in and check-out were all very pleasant; while not overtly enthusiastic like hotel staff, their demeanor was perfectly professional and helpful. Regarding the facilities, I booked a single room, but the one I was given actually had two beds, which made the room feel quite cramped. The room had a great view, with a direct view of The Shard. The building itself appears to be quite old, with many dated aspects. For instance, there are many rooms on one floor (over 40), and the corridors are a maze of twists and turns with numerous fire doors, making it feel like a labyrinth. The windows open upwards, requiring you to stand on a chair to open or close them. There's absolutely no soundproofing for the plumbing; you can hear a very loud gushing sound from the pipes whenever someone in an adjacent room uses water. (Thankfully, my neighbors in the two adjacent rooms were very considerate, rarely using water between 11 PM and 8 AM, and when they did, the sound was minimal, suggesting they used a very low flow). As a former international student in the UK who lived in university dorms for many years, I am perfectly accustomed to small rooms and basic amenities (a kettle, cups, tea bags, soap, shampoo, shower gel, and bath towel are provided, but no hairdryer or fan). However, honestly, the pipe noise was a bit beyond what I expected. Other points of concern for me were: 1. The accommodation hosts hundreds of guests across all age groups, which led to significant queues for breakfast when I went down at 8 AM. 2. The bathroom had a very strong, pungent smell – I couldn't tell if it was disinfectant or fresh paint – which persisted for two days even with the window open constantly. I regretted not asking for a room change on the first day. 3. On my floor, one of the communal kitchens was locked, meaning over forty rooms on that entire floor had to share a single kitchen. I hadn't encountered these specific issues when staying in other university accommodations, which made them a bit bothersome. However, if these particular points aren't a major concern for you, then this place absolutely stands out as an excellent, high-value accommodation option."

"The location is excellent, very quiet and safe, but transportation isn't very convenient. It's quite far from the train station, with only a bus stop nearby. There's a pier, Milebank, about a 5-minute walk away, but the RB6 service is infrequent and ends early. There's a Sainsbury's also within a 5-minute walk. The room is a bit small but not cramped, and the design is nice; you could even call it a suite. It has a modern feel. However, the amenities are truly lacking. For a price over 2,000, there are no slippers or toothbrushes. Many of the front desk staff are Indian, and the service feels very stingy. On the positive side, the hygiene is good, it's very clean, and business seems to be doing well. The rooftop gym is unique; although small, it offers great views."

"The hotel's location is a bit out of the way; aside from being close to Tower Bridge, other attractions are quite far, making it less convenient than staying in the West End. The room was alright, but the bathroom was a bit odd – long and narrow, and the door wouldn't stay open. I had to prop it open with a stool for ventilation. Service was generally good; the restaurant staff were excellent, and most of the front desk team were very helpful, with only a few exceptions. Free bottled water is provided. However, when I asked a particular staff member for some, she seemed a bit reluctant. After that, I called room service for water, and it was fine several times, but on one occasion, the front desk said only two bottles were provided per day. I mentioned I had been staying at the hotel for over a week (I actually stayed 9 days) and that bottled water was promised when I booked. She then said more could be delivered if requested. Overall, it was just okay; the price was higher than another 4-star hotel nearby, so the value for money wasn't great."
