The geographical location is unique. From the city to the integration of nature, Xinsuo, Under the Dome, "Xinsu · Qionglusiye" is waiting for you!

"Out of all the places I've stayed in Yunnan this past week, this was by far the best guesthouse. I'd actually saved it in my favorites back in 2022, so I was really excited to finally visit. The views are incredible, the room is spacious, and there's a lovely little courtyard perfect for stargazing at night. Outside, there's a huge meadow where you can hang out with various animals during the day, and Napa Lake is right next to the hotel. The next morning, the butler even helped me get to the high-speed rail station at 6:30 AM, which I really appreciated. In the hotel lobby, you can help yourself to complimentary bottled water, fruit, and snacks. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and as my last night in Yunnan, it was truly unforgettable!"

Hotel near Dukezong Old Town,Shangri-La
Shangri-La, meaning "the sun and moon in the heart" in the local Himalayan dialect, is where the ancient town of Dukezong seems to scatter moonlight upon the earth. Nestled at No. 22 Gunma Lane, Jiantang Town, Yanlu·Ideal Country Inn (North Gate Branch of Dukezong Ancient Town) is just a one-minute stroll from the north gate of the ancient town, offering a serene retreat that enjoys the vibrant life of the town while remaining untouched by its hustle. The guest rooms are infused with the spirit of Himalayan heritage, blended seamlessly with modern comforts. Bathed in cascading sunlight, they are equipped with thoughtful amenities such as smart toilets, underfloor heating, and oxygen generators, ensuring a warm and homely stay even on the high plateau. The courtyard blooms with fragrance throughout the seasons, where the aroma of tea mingles with the scent of books. The former multi-functional hall has been transformed into an open library, inviting travelers to peruse the pages of time and encounter resonances of the soul. Here, time slows down, and life warms up. Savor a cup of buttered tea by the window, listening to the whispers of the wind, or lose yourself in a good book, letting your spirit rest gently under the mountain moonlight. Yanlu·Ideal Country is more than just accommodation; it is a tender proposition for an ideal way of life.

"Well, love the dog (Bala, if I spelled it correctly). Nice ”Loft” style hotel, love the style and vibe. Staffs are friendly and available on wechat whenever they are not at the front desk. Regarding my room, it is good but I regretted getting the 2-storey one, because it made going to the toilet at downstairs in the middle of the night both a hassel and dangerous (if you got wobbly legs when half asleep and coz there is no motion senor lights - you need to rely on your eyes and sense if you dont want to switch on the bright lights). Also the sun roof ceiling is low and I did bumped my skull twice in a night. 2-Storey with sun roof is cool only in concept im afraid (especially whe the night sky is cloudy anyways) Anyway, location is pretty good. Hotel's complimentary fetching from the station/airport is awesome too. Hmm what else, oh you could borrow some winter jackets from them if you need some (not if you are super big size though)."

"Found a hidden gem of a ******* B&B right next to Dukezong Ancient Town! It's just a few minutes' walk to explore the ancient town and spin the giant prayer wheel, so the location is absolutely perfect. If you're driving, it's even better – free parking right outside, making it super convenient for getting around. The two-bedroom family suite was spacious and well-arranged, giving our family of three plenty of room to relax. The ******* decor created such a wonderful ambiance, with exquisite wood carvings and soft ******* furnishings that were beautiful and charming. Plus, it was spotlessly clean. What truly sets this place apart are the thoughtful high-altitude amenities: every room has an oxygen concentrator and humidifier. We didn't have to worry about altitude sickness or dry air at all – sleeping with the oxygen on at night was incredibly comfortable and peaceful. The hospitality was top-notch from the moment we arrived. The host immediately brought us freshly brewed hot butter tea and authentic ******* pastries. The rich tea and delicious snacks instantly melted away our travel fatigue, showing true ******* warmth. They also offer a complete set of free ******* traditional clothing, perfect for taking stunning, atmospheric photos in the courtyard or along the ancient town streets. It saved us the cost of renting outfits, making it incredible value for money. The owner and staff are genuinely warm and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Shangri-La!"

"The entire guesthouse environment was fantastic. We stayed in a family room on the first floor, and all the disposable amenities were excellent – I didn't even need to use the ones I brought myself. Most of the electronics in the room were controlled by Xiao Du voice commands, and the room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. The room design was surprisingly thoughtful and user-friendly, feeling just like home. It had a separate vanity with a makeup mirror and a large, independent storage cabinet and shelves, making the storage space perfect for travel, so things weren't scattered everywhere. The breakfast was great, and the pick-up/drop-off service was excellent. The guesthouse's little dog was also adorable. Arranging a private car service for sightseeing was very convenient, and even walking or taking a taxi was easy. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back, haha! 😄😄😄😄😄😄"

"The super-large French windows offer a fantastic view of the ancient city and the Big Buddha Temple's prayer wheel as soon as you open the curtains. The room is incredibly spacious, I'd say at least 40 to 50 square meters. It even has oxygen supply, so no worries if you're prone to altitude sickness. The bathroom is also spotless and very well-designed, which is a great touch. The front desk service was exceptionally warm and welcoming, and if you come back late at night, they'll even send a small car to pick you up and bring you back to the hotel."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay! From the moment we booked, the family who owns the place was incredibly kind, cheerful, and helpful. They communicated with us via WeChat to confirm our stay and asked us to update them when we were on our way, which made us feel very well-looked after. Despite our late check-in, the ”big sister” of the family was so thoughtful, she even helped us carry our heavy bags up to the second floor! She then took the time to show us how everything in the room worked. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for the cold weather. The beds were cozy with comfortable mattresses, and the heater and humidifier were lifesavers! They also provided everything we needed like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hairdryer, and most importantly, unlimited bottled water. The location is fantastic! It’s very close to Dukezong Ancient City and just a 15-minute walk to the Giant Prayer Wheel/town center. As Muslims, we found it very convenient that there is a Halal restaurant and a convenience store just a few meters away. Note: It was freezing (0 degree) at night, but we stayed perfectly warm inside! It was also nice to see many fellow Malaysians staying in the area. We also have to mention their adorable little dog! He was so friendly and constantly wanted to play with us. Although we couldn't play back due to our religious restrictions, he was still so sweet, he even gave us a ”zoomie” farewell during our early morning checkout! Thank you so much for the great hospitality. We will definitely visit again! 💯💯"

At an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level, Shangri-La hides a thousand-year-old moonlight city - the ancient city of Dukezong. This is the imprint of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the Sanskrit sound of the first return, and the holy place in the hearts of countless travelers, "the closest place to heaven". And**Xingzhiyue Yixing B&B**, it is hidden in a quiet corner of the ancient city, becoming a window for you to touch heaven. Living in the poetry of **, the location is excellent: 5 minutes walk to the square street in the center of the ancient city, Moonlight Square and Guishan Park are close at hand, but avoid the noise and enjoy the tranquility alone. Sip butter tea by the fire pond and listen to the stories of collectors, wait for a sunshine gold mountain on the terrace, or visit the nearby Songzanlin Temple and Napa Sea with the host. Warmth like home: floor heating, humidifier, 24-hour hot water, intimate service against high reaction, let you feel like home. Walking to Shangri-La, this is not only a place to rest, but also the beginning of a story. **The joy of doing is also good**, I am willing to protect the sun and moon in your heart with a bowl of hot yak hot pot and a dim butter lamp.

"Toast family feast bonfire party 12% off: The owner is super nice and helped us book the Toast Feast, securing us a great spot. The price for the feast was also very reasonable, even cheaper and better than what's offered online. ******* attire photoshoot 12% off: The photoshoot recommended by the owner's wife was also excellent. Not only was the price fair, but the service was also top-notch. Welcome fruit: The staff who picked us up from the airport were incredibly welcoming. There were lots of snacks, delicious milk, and very sweet mandarins. The owner and staff had fantastic attitudes, recommending many great places to eat and fun activities. The facilities in the hotel are very new, making it perfect for friends and family to stay and enjoy their vacation!"

The driver was already waiting. 【Welcome Amenities】Front desk self-service welcome gift: There were lighters, free afternoon tea, and the complimentary tea was good, quite delicious. There were also local specialty snacks. 【Personalized Care】Attentive butler service: Anything I needed, I just told the front desk and they would accommodate. "First, let's talk about the pros. Firstly, the transportation is convenient, as you can drive right to the building. Secondly, there's an elevator, which is a lifesaver for those with altitude sickness (DDDD!). Thirdly, you can check in early if you arrive ahead of time, and the stay itself was quite comfortable. Lastly, oxygen equipment is available. Now for the cons. Firstly, the official pictures of the night view room are misleading. The actual night view isn't as close or as grand as depicted in the official photos. The image I've included was taken with several times zoom, just to compare the size, so don't mind the clarity. Secondly, perhaps we arrived at the wrong time, but the front desk staff was busy elsewhere, so we had to wait quite a while to check in. The front desk phone was left at the front desk, and no one answered when called. Thirdly, the oxygen equipment is limited; I only saw about two units, so if there are many people, it can't be delivered to individual rooms, especially if there's a tour group. Lastly, it's quite noisy. Due to central heating, the floor heating starts at 4 PM, and the front desk mentioned that you need to open the windows for it, leading to noise from passing cars at night. Overall, it was an alright stay. I'm just sharing my honest experience for everyone's reference."
