2 Star Hotels in Charlottesville

Because I visited the University of Virginia, I decided to stay here very close. There is a big supermarket right next to it. It is easy to buy water and food. The breakfast buffet was also good. There is free parking.

There is free parking and daily breakfast. The breakfast is quite American, although the room is small, then there is no outdoor pool mentioned in the hotel introduction. Come to see the child's order in the summer vacation, it feels like a motel. But the price is really cheap. I put a dollar on the pillow every day and the room was clean.

Front staff were all extremely friendly. There was a weird smell in our room, sort of a chemical odor. The location was very close to downtown so that was convenient.

Slightly old. . . Everything else is satisfactory. . . Actually, no deposit is charged. . . The trust of people is very warm. . . There is a relatively new small square across the road. . . Eating and shopping are pretty good.

We were lucky enough to only have to stay in Cville on a Sunday night (Saturday night would've been quite pricey). Thanks to the low Sunday night rate, we opted for the 1 bedroom suite with fireplace.The room itself was excellent and we were impressed with the hotel overall. This is definitely one of the nicer Hampton Inns we've stayed in. The central lobby and breakfast area is tastefully decorated and has nice high ceilings. The location can't be beat as you're a very short walk to The Corner and only about 5-10 minutes from the Downtown Mall.

Blech. I know you get what you pay for, but I paid $125 for one night during a very busy week in C-ville. That smell when you open the door and you are smacked in the face with the mix of cigarette smoke and deodorizer... In the 30 minutes I sat in there while searching for a new hotel, the smell invaded my face mask. Dark inside, woman (guest) sitting on the curb outside my room smoking, just blech. I abandoned the room and let them keep the money - maybe they can use it to rip out the drywall and start over?

We stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, on our way to Monticello on a US History Tour. We found it to be a nice hotel, with efficient staff and complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We noticed they had a nice gym & pool, but since our tour group arrived fairly late, and we had an early start the next day didn’t really have time & energy for exploring amenities. The location was convenient for going to Monticello the next morning.
