Charlotte Suites by IHG

Hotel is under renovation. Room was nice and quiet. Don't understand why they are charging to park in their parking lot.

Great property. Friendly staff and great location.

Breakfast was good and staff was great...the decor is being updated, but right now it's pretty drab and just feels dirty even though it's not.

I get it’s under construction, but it smelled horrible, the blinds wouldn’t shut, and you could see mold in the window seal. I would avoid staying here

Rooms were ok and clean. Basics like shampoo or handwash were not available. Also no microwave in the room or in the lobby. Breakfast was very minimal.

The staff was great and super helpful as I was traveling in the middle of a snow storm and was stuck in Charlotte. The hotel needs a lot of attention as everything was dingy (room's curtains were visibly dirty) and all of lobby, elevators and breakfast area need to be deep cleaned. The shower water never got hotter than lukewarm, the tub drain was broken, and all of the grout/caulk of the bathroom was dirty or in need of replacement.

The rooms are very clean, and the hotel offers free breakfast and a complimentary shuttle service. The staff are friendly, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and fresh fruit available in the lobby. Overall, the price is excellent for the value provided.
