Red Roof Inn Charlestown

The front staff was helpful! The hotel had no breakfast. No batteries to the tv remote. She couldn’t find anymore. Said she couldn’t call manager they wouldn’t answer. No paper towel in bathrooms.

The accommodations were good. The front desk person charged me for a room that I had already paid for and told me I'd have to leave if she refunded her mistake. Now I'm going to have to dispute the charges with my bank. And... there was no manager onsite or available by phone. Terrible service. I even had an email and receipt to prove I paid, which she admitted was in my portfolio, but that didn't matter.

Room was clean when we arrived. Room should have been cleaned every day. It was not cleaned at all during our 3 day stay. Other rooms were leaving trash bags in the hallway. Now I know why. We came back to the room as we left it. I got clean towels from desk clerk. A note was made to clean the room the next day. The next day, we were told there was only one cleaning person and they didn't know if they'd get to our room. It didn't get cleaned. Breakfast was minimal. They had cheerios in a bin. Prewrapped sausage egg biscuits and muffins. No batter for waffle makers. On our last day, there was nothing for breakfast. The only ice machine they had was out of order. We managed to get some ice out of it before it melted. We had to buy ice. A room near/next to ours kept playing loud music. My husband complained a couple times but the music stopped before they could figure out where it was coming from. At one point, we pounded on the wall to the room next door. It stopped. However they played it several times a day. One time, it was 7:15am.

Even though they are in the process of renovating the stay was clean & quiet. No vending machines or laundry (broken) but minor inconveniences overall.

Comfy bed, clean room, nothing to complain about. Reception was under renovation, so looking forward to see the result when I'm back in the area.

Room was nice, jacuzzi was perfect, and breakfast was good. I have no complaints and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and looked like it had been updated. I liked the tile floors because you can see if they’re clean. The stairs needed vacuuming and repair materials were left around. The breakfast was just okay. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but lacked some basic knowledge like the pool hours.

If you're just looking for a place to lay your head while passing through, this place is great. Room is comfortable, nothing fancy. My room was missing a lightbulb on the desk lamp and the shampoo/soap dispensers in shower were both empty. But, staff promptly filled both and brought a new lightbulb when alerted. Overall, good value for the price.

The staff was nice. The room was clean. The pool was way too cold to go in. The coffee was cold. The continental breakfast was a joke. Hardly any food whatsoever. No waffle batter made. No yogurts or fruit. 3 muffins were in stock. 1 rock hard breakfast sandwich. In this area they need to do better.
