What a gem Rushop Hall is. Easy to find and we received a warm, friendly welcome from the host.
We were initially a little disappointed that we had been allocated a guest room within the main family house, rather than one of the separate lodges, but it was fine and the room (Harris Room) was beautifully furnished and appointed. Plenty of space, and excellent selection of teas and coffees, and a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was a little on the cosy side and the water pressure in the shower was low, but it was clean and bright, no real problem at all.
Breakfast in the NoCar Cafe on site was an absolute treat, one of the best we've had on our travels. Superb quality of food, coffee and service. And thanks for recommending the Lamb Inn for our dinner after we arrived on Saturday evening. Just a short drive to Chinley for a fantastic meal in an amazing pub.
Overall, an excellent place to stay, and I'd book there again without hesitation.
