Atour Properties in Chaozhou

This hotel is conveniently located on Chaofeng Road, just a 10-minute taxi ride to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge. The rooms are brand new with no strange odors, and the bathroom has a great shower with good water pressure and a separate wet/dry area. The bedding is soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff are very welcoming. They even offer beef ball kway teow for breakfast and late-night congee, which is a lovely touch. This is definitely my top choice for travel and accommodation.

We had a minor incident during our Dragon Boat Festival stay. When we returned from an outing, we noticed an unfamiliar key card in the power slot. Although it was quickly clarified that it was a staff key card, I still felt uneasy, so we checked out and moved to another hotel. I thought that was the end of it, but unexpectedly, after we had already started our journey home, I received a call from Atour. The duty manager, who had remembered the incident, specially arranged for a small gift to be sent to us as an apology. To be honest, we were no longer guests at that point, and they could have easily ignored it, but they remembered and followed up. Everyone makes mistakes, but those who are willing to make amends even after the guest has left truly embody the meaning of 'service.' A special thank you to the duty manager on the night shift of June 21st and another female staff member. Your thoughtfulness was truly appreciated. Next time I visit Chaoshan, I'll definitely stay at Atour again. ❤️

I highly recommend this Atour Hotel! I stayed for two nights, and the experience was superb ✨. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade to a spacious and comfortable Executive King Room. The front desk lady was incredibly nice, offering not only enthusiastic service but also sharing tons of local food recommendations, essentially becoming my personal travel consultant. The hotel environment is elegant and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay. Even the laundry room attendant was super helpful, offering to assist with my clothes. The warmth really showed in the details. It was a fantastic stay, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

The hotel was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread was excellent. Most importantly, the front desk lady was stunningly beautiful and gave us fantastic recommendations for local food and attractions. It was so thoughtful of her! We even received a complimentary welcome gift upon check-in! This is the best Atour Hotel I've ever stayed at!

I highly recommend staying here for your travels! The front desk service was absolutely perfect! We arrived in the evening and asked the front desk for recommendations for good hot pot restaurants nearby that wouldn't disappoint. They were incredibly enthusiastic with their suggestions, and indeed, we weren't disappointed! Our room was very spacious and clean. The housekeeping service was also excellent! We had to leave at 8 AM the next day, and we asked the front desk to arrange for our laundry to be done before 7:30 AM. The next morning, when we opened the door, our clothes were already washed, dried, folded, and hung on the door! 👍👍👍👍

I requested a high floor and no corner room, but ended up with both. First, the good points: the hygiene was quite good, and the Atour bedding was as comfortable as ever. Now for the downsides: it was a corner room on a low floor, and the soundproofing was virtually non-existent; car horns blared all night long. The shower drain wasn't properly installed; whenever the sink or toilet was flushed, the shower drain would start gurgling loudly. As for breakfast, it was quite disappointing. At 9:55 AM, the restaurant was messy, there was nothing to eat, and the coffee machine's milk tube looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, all yellowed. The mini-bar in the room didn't even have soft drinks. They really need to improve; this is the Atour with the least service awareness I've stayed at so far.
