Jilin Province Hotel

I stayed at the Jilin Provincial Hotel for four consecutive nights, and the experience was exceptionally heartwarming. The hotel, built in 1958, boasts grand and imposing architecture with a rich heritage. It's exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and well-regulated. My family member had a fractured ankle and limited mobility, and the hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. They helped us change rooms three times: first from a room with a raised bathroom step to one with no threshold, and finally to a spacious room, always considering the needs of guests with mobility issues. The staff were sincere and genuine, treating guests with authentic kindness. Their service was professional and thorough, without any forced commercial politeness. This simple, friendly atmosphere among people left a deep impression. Although it's an older hotel, the management is solid, and it's clean and tidy. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changchun.

I remember staying at this hotel a few years ago when I visited Changchun, and I chose to stay here again this trip. The service is still excellent, the surrounding environment is beautiful, and the location is superb, very close to Bore Temple. The only minor drawback is that the air conditioning in the room felt a bit old and worn. Other than that, everything else was great. The breakfast was rich and delicious!

Jilin Province Hotel is a cultural heritage site in Changchun, and I was fortunate enough to stay here and experience a bit of history. Since it's an old building, the central air conditioning in my room wasn't very effective at cooling.

Try to avoid staying here if you can. The room is tiny, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the 'oxygen bar' they advertise is just a small air purifier on the table. Breakfast was very basic, and there are no restaurants nearby.

Stayed in Changchun for one night. This hotel is right by People's Square, definitely a well-established place! Great value for money and convenient transportation. A walk along Renmin Street is very pleasant!

Before checking in, I requested a quieter room, but the front desk still assigned me a street-facing room. There was a lot of traffic and noise. I asked if I could switch rooms, but they gave me various reasons why I couldn't. The bathroom was also quite small. The breakfast wasn't great value for money. People's Square is very small, with only a Soviet Red Army monument to see. If you want to try Jilin's local specialties, I'd recommend staying at the Forestry Hotel instead.

The service was great, it was quiet overall, not far from anything, and we had a very comfortable stay.

This is an established, state-owned hotel that offers excellent service. It's clean, well-maintained, and has a pleasant environment. The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around.
