We recently had the opportunity to stay at Naikap Village Resort in Kathmandu, Nepal, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The resort has undergone significant improvements, and it offers a breathtaking view of the stunning Kathmandu Valley from its newly renovated deluxe rooms. The service at Naikap Village Resort was exceptional and the staff members were incredibly friendly, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying a delightful barbecue on the rooftop, accompanied by ice-cold beers served in frozen glasses. It was the perfect way to beat the heat on a hot day. The Nepali non-vegetarian thali that followed was simply exquisite, with its flavors and presentation leaving nothing to be desired. During our stay, I noticed that the resort was undergoing further development. I was excited to see a new conference hall being constructed, which indicated that Naikap Village Resort is committed to providing excellent facilities for corporate events and meetings. Additionally, I was intrigued by the sight of a camping area being set up. This expansion suggests that the resort is striving to cater to a wider range of guests and offer unique experiences. The staff service was great. It was caring everywhere and friendly. However, the water was dirty anyway! In Nepal, the hotel with a bathtub is valuable, so I stayed here to check the facilities and think I can take a bath in the bathtub, but it was a pity that I couldn't do it. It is true that water is often yellow in Nepal, but it was the first time that such blue and black water came out. I was a little scared when I thought I was taking a shower or washing my face with this water. When I asked the hotel, I was disappointed by the manager's reply that the tank was broken, and there was no apology or compensation for it. The breakfast was delicious, but the variety was small and the bread was hard.

Very clean hotel, the food also nice. Very good location as if you stay in the Center of the town, it gonna be very noisy start from 3am for the whole day. Here you won’t be waken by the traffic and walkable distance to those shopping area.

I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. The hotel is good value for money. Environment, location, food and lodging, service, etc. are OK. Tibetan decoration style, American breakfast is very rich, will also provide Chinese compatriots with porridge and noodles, tea and so on. The proprietress is a Tibetan compatriot, speaks Chinese very well, and it is very convenient to find her to solve something. The second time I lived, I was still so warm and comfortable. I will have the opportunity to stay in the future.

There are many hotels in Kathmandu and they are very dense, but I was conquered by the beautiful smile and friendly service of a front desk clerk, her name is Sadikshya, and the doorman is a handsome and enthusiastic uncle. He is always in high spirits to say hello to you, and I feel like I am home. The price of the hotel is reasonable, the view is first-class, there is an elevator for carrying luggage, and the room rate includes Western breakfast. It is a great hotel and highly recommended.

Surprisingly good hotel, hotel service staff with smiles on everyone's face, hotel clean and hygienic, walking in the garden, gardeners all kindly greet, beautiful garden, rich breakfast, freshly brewed coffee ☕️, freshly made juice 🍹 The made-to-order potato burrito is delicious. Families with children can also add extra beds. The hotel lobby manager is caring. The shuttle service booked at the hotel is of good quality and feels like home. Recommended
