Hyatt Place Phoenix Chandler Fashion Center

Zero privacy. We reserved a king suite with patio. Nowhere in the description of this room did they clarify that the "patio" is unfenced and right outside the pool area. Also, the bathroom "door" is a sliding door and did not shut all the way. The bed was so uncomfortable, the couch and pull-out bed were rock hard. The hallway to our room smelled like skunk **** most of the time we were there. After we checked in and saw our room, i called and asked if we could be moved. I was told they were fully booked and didnt have a different room available, but the parking lot was mostly empty the entire time we were there. We actually left at 10:00 PM the night before we were aupposed to check out because i couldnt take it anymore. One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Staff was dismissive, the room was awful, and the noise level was ridiculous.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel offered free daily breakfast, which was very convenient, and there was a laundry room available for guests, which was a big plus for our trip. The location was excellent—it was close to everything. The mall was directly across the street, and right across from the mall was Walmart. Behind the mall there was Target and many other nearby stores and dining options, making it extremely easy to get around without traveling far. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The bathroom could use some upgrading, and since we stayed in a room that sleeps six, the pull-out sofa bed definitely needs an upgrade. It was uncomfortable and felt like you were sinking in while sleeping. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay with a few minor drawbacks.

This is not entirely the hotels fault. We drove 11 hours to find out the ******* reservation did not go through. There was no reservation in file for us even though it was confirmed. There was no rooms available for the night and the hotel was not able to accommodate anything for us and ultimately had to stay at a whole different hotel. The whole situation was disappointing!

Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice patio and pool area. We didn’t use the exercise facility, but looked well laid out with great machine choices. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

It was awesome coming back to a clean room fresh towels. The breakfast was great just missing gravy for the potatoes :) Fast check in. Would highly recommend. Thank you for the great stay.

Nice comfy one bedroom suite, two TV’s was a big bonus! Great bed and close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants and freeway access to anywhere in the Valley. Our go to place to stay in the east valley of phoenix.
